"Aww, is that so?" Veronica asked Cassi condescendingly, pushing another spoonful of baby food into the girl's mouth.

"Uh-huh," Cassi nodded excitedly, wiggling in her high chair, her diaper crinkling loudly. "And then the Easter Bunny hides a whole bunch of eggs with chocolate in them, and I have to find them! And if I find them all, I get the new dress that he got for me for Easter!"

"Wow," Veronica smirked. "So, do you see him then? When he comes back to give you the dress?"

Cassi frowned, glancing up at her. "Huh?" she furrowed her brow, looking particularly silly with her face spattered with baby food, clearly having not cared about the mess she was making as she babbled on about the Easter Bunny, her hair tied up in twin, pink ribbons.

"Well, how can he know you'll find them all until you do it?" Veronica stepped over to the girl's changing table, getting out a baby wipe. "If you only get it after you do that, it wouldn't make any sense for him to leave the dress here... So he has to come back, right?"

"Umm..." Veronica could see the wheels struggling to turn in Cassi's head. It was so hard to believe they were the same age...

Even beyond the obvious, of the face Cassi was dressed like a baby, and lived in a giant nursery, she'd always been a ditz, long before any of this had happened - at least that Veronica had known about. Veronica had been shocked when Cassi managed to graduate high school alongside her... And yet, she still would have assumed she was smart enough to know the Easter Bunny wasn't real, that all of this was her playing into her AB persona more than anything... Except for how hard the girl was obviously trying to come up with an explanation.

"I-I mean, he's magic," she said after a moment, pouting as Veronica started to wipe her face off. "I-I guess it has to do with that... Maybe he can see into the future, and he knows whether I'll find the eggs or not."

"Wow," Veronica commented. "I had no idea the Easter Bunny could see into the future. You'd think he'd do something more useful with that power than decide whether or not to leave big babies like you a new outfit."

Cassi squirmed. "W-Well, maybe it isn't that," she admitted. "Maybe he just comes back after the egg hunt..."

"And, in all these years, he's never stopped to say hello?" Veronica shook her head. "He doesn't sound very nice to me."

"He is!" Cassi insisted. "He leaves me chocolate, and eggs, and presents, and pretty dresses!"

Veronica rolled her eyes; if Cassi were actually a small child, she would have gone along with her flights of fancy, played into it as much as she could make herself... But she was well aware that Cassi was an adult, and it was ridiculous seeing her genuinely argue for an imaginary creature. "No, he doesn't," she informed her. "Your Mommy does all of that, and your parents did it before her."

"Nuh-uh!" Cassi shook her head, tears sparkling in her eyes. "He's real! I swear!"

"Sure," Veronica tossed the baby wipe into the diaper pail, getting the sulky Cassi out of her high chair for her bath. "Whatever you say, Cass..."

"I'm sorry to ask you this," Danielle said, "I know you aren't a maid, but... Could I get you to stay on for a little longer and straighten up the nursery? We're having company over for Easter tomorrow, and I can't trust Cassi to get it done. I'll pay you your normal babysitting rate."

Veronica felt a little insulted, though the promise of money was enough to take the sting away. Danielle, Cassi's Mommy, paid her very well, partially to keep Cassi's secret, which had been a big concern for the girl, back when Danielle had initially hired Veronica. They knew a lot of the same people from their younger years, of course... Veronica had gone off to college, however, and hadn't kept up with many of those high school friends, even after returning to her hometown for a job opportunity that hadn't panned out.

Really, she should have made Cassi clean it up herself; she'd known Danielle had something planned for the next day, and she had the authority, as a babysitter, to make the girl at least try. She might have gotten it into a state where Danielle could have finished it up on her own... Veronica doubted Cassi would have done much more than that, but it would have been a start.

"Sure," she shrugged. "Why not?"

"Thank you so much," Danielle smiled. "We have to go do a little scouting, see if we can guess what dress the Easter Bunny is going to pick for Cassi this year."

She gave Veronica a conspiratorial wink, and, as soon as she'd looked away, Veronica shot a meaningful look at Cassi, who was nibbling anxiously at her pacifier in a way that made it obvious she'd seen it, and knew what it meant, was making the connections to the conversation they'd had earlier in the week.

Was it mean? Should Veronica have kept her mouth shut, and let her believe whatever she wanted? Veronica pondered that, as she picked up the girl's toys, putting them in her toy box, or on shelves. She just kept coming back to Cassi's age, and how silly it was that she actually seemed to buy into it, still.

"Up you go," she picked up one of Cassi's favorite toys, a large, stuffed bunny, setting it down in the crib. "Is that why she likes you so much?" she mused. "Do you remind her of the Easter Bunny?"

There wasn't an answer, of course, and she didn't expect one. She went back to work, pausing only when she went to put something on top of Cassi's dresser, and saw her hair ribbons. She wasn't sure why, but she felt compelled to reach out, to touch them... She'd felt them plenty of times before, as she fixed the girl's hair, or took it down for bathtime, and yet, this time, they felt different somehow...

"I wonder how I'd look in these," she said out loud. This was the perfect opportunity... Cassi almost definitely wouldn't have cared, but having nobody at all around made it feel safer, somehow. And, she could feel her hands reaching out for them already, ignoring her urge to get back to work, so she could finish, and go home... Along with another, more important, urge...

"I guess I look pretty cute," she said to herself, admiring her reflection. They definitely suited Cassi better, but she didn't mind the way they made her look... At least, not until she'd gotten back into cleaning, and caught a glimpse of her reflection again, the brief view almost making her think she was seeing Cassi.

Of course it wasn't her, though... Cassi was shorter than her, and she definitely would have heard the girl's diaper. She blushed, shook her head, started to reach up to take out the ribbons... And returned to picking up toys instead.

That was odd... It was like the signals got mixed up in her brain, somehow. Had it decided it was more important to get her work done first? She could argue with that, but the way it had happened was strange. And, with her hair up like that, and knowing how she looked, she was starting to feel more like a little girl, doing her chores, rather than an adult babysitter helping out...

But the worst was yet to come. She hadn't been paying attention to the clock, and how much time had passed, until she heard the car pulling back into the driveway. Only then did she realize it had been a while, on top of how long it had been, before Danielle got home, since she went to the bathroom... All of the sudden, it all came rushing back to her.

Scowling, she tried to clench her muscles shut, to stop anything from happening, but already, she felt a wetness in her panties. "No, no," she shook her head, breath quickening. What was going on?! She couldn't even remember the last time she'd had an accident, and here she was, with her employer, and her charge, about to walk in on her, and she was starting to pee her pants!

That couldn't be true... It couldn't be happening... She had to be imagining it. She grabbed her skirt, hiking it up, praying that she'd see something other than what she'd felt; there it was, pure and simple, spreading through her baby blue panties, the unicorn printed on them staring back at her, mocking her. If she was going to wet herself in any underwear, those would be the pair she'd choose, at least... The pack they'd come in had other, cuter designs that weren't so obviously childish, in her mind, and it had been worth putting up with a unicorn to get them.

That didn't mean she wanted to use them this way, however, certainly not now, as she listened to the front door opening, footsteps approaching down the hall... She tried to pry her hands loose from her skirt, to let it fall, the urine not quite overflowing the fabric yet, to trickle down her legs... If she was fast enough, she could get to the bathroom, or her car, before anyone else saw...

But she just stood there, dumbly, hair in ribbons, underwear on display, until the nursery door opened. "Mommy!" Cassi squealed. "Look! Veronica's a baby, too!"

"N-No," Veronica shook her head. "I-It's not what it looks like..."

"Then what is it?" Danielle put her hands on her hips, her tone changing to the one she used for Cassi, one she'd never spoken to Veronica with.

Veronica's mind raced, desperate for an answer, unable to find anything. "Umm..."

"Mommy!" Cassi tugged at Danielle's skirt, a wicked grin spreading across her face. "You know what the rules are when my friends are over..."

Danielle nodded slowly, glaring down at the mortified Veronica, the wet spot on her unicorn panties still growing. "That's right, sweetie... There's only one strike in this house."

"I know just the diaper for her!" Cassi giggled. "'specially since it's almost Easter!"

"Come on, Cassi, not those," Veronica groaned, squirming on the changing table she'd cleaned the girl up on so many times.

She should have known exactly what Cassi had in mind - they were the only diapers she'd worn herself for a couple weeks - but she'd never imagined ending up in them herself... She'd never imagined any of this. Cassi had some cutesy diapers, far more of a variety than Veronica ever would have thought could exist for such a niche audience. These were, in her opinion, the most babyish.

They were thick, of course, though she'd never been able to tell for certain if they were thicker than Cassi's others, or if she assumed they must be, thanks to how childish they were otherwise. They were mostly white, but, printed in pink along the padding, cartoon bunnies cavorted, little blue stars punctuating the scenes. The landing strip was a pastel pink and blue, too, with more bunnies on it.

"She has to wear these!" Cassi insisted, shoving one of those dreaded diapers towards her Mommy's hands. "It's Easter!"

"If you say so, dear," Danielle smiled. And, to the sitter's horror, it was slid under her bottom, a tiny gasp leaving her mouth as her backside settled into it, feeling the bulk, hearing the crinkle...

Danielle was even more experienced than her at changing diapers, and, before Veronica knew it, before she could fully comprehend it, she was taped into the thing, diapered like Cassi, who was delighted to pick out a new outfit for her, giving her a pink shirt and a pair of Hello Kitty shortalls that didn't quite hide her bunnies. And, when she tried to complain, it was finished off with a pink pacifier.

"Well, it looks like we have a guest for dinner," Danielle said, looking down at the stunned Veronica. "Do you still want to help me cook, sweetie, or do you want to play?"

"Cook!" Cassi bounced in place. Veronica was going to offer to help, too, but Danielle pushed the paci back into her mouth as she attempted to remove it, shaking her head. Instead, she was sentenced to the playpen, left to languish in there, feeling sorry for herself.

Little did she know, the worst was yet to come. She sat there, pawing at the thick diaper, shocked at how helpless it made her feel. She knew she could get up, step over the playpen, leave... And yet, staring down at the bunnies, she couldn't make herself go through the motions to do that.

What she did do, however, when she heard Cassi toddling up the hallway, probably to fetch her for dinner, was lie down, spreading her legs wide... And pushing. She almost didn't recognize what was happening, the thought of it was so mortifying, not until she heard her diaper crinkle as a lump began to form, growing larger and larger as the warm, stinky mush started to pile up...

"Mommy!" Cassi giggled as she opened the door. "You hafta come see!"

And, despite her best efforts, Veronica had no choice, except to put on a show for them, grunting softly behind her pacifier, filling her diaper like a toddler... Like Cassi.

"Oh, Veronica," Danielle sighed. "What am I going to do with you, young lady?"

The immediate answer, it turned out, was to take her down for supper, forcing her to sit at the table in her messy diaper. Veronica gasped as she sank into the mess, squishing it even further through her diaper, finding it very hard to remember she had been, mere hours earlier, the babysitter, not one of Cassi's little friends.

"There's no point cleaning you up now," Danielle had told her. "I have a feeling you'll make a mess of yourself while you're eating, too, so we'll just give you a bath afterwards."

"I think she was just jealous, Mommy," Cassi mused, as they ate. Veronica had a bib on, just like her... She didn't think she'd need it, but whenever she glanced down, and saw those bunnies, her hand seemed to slip, and she smeared sauce across her face, or dropped a noodle down, into the plastic pocket at the bottom of the bib. "I was telling her about how we celebrate Easter the other day. I think she wanted to celebrate, too!"

"I see," Danielle nodded. "Is that it, Veronica?"

"N-No," she shook her head. But she had no other explanation for it, so it wasn't particularly convincing. And, after her bath, she was tucked into the crib right next to Cassi, bright and early, well before the sun was down.

"You two have a big day tomorrow," Danielle told them, and, obediently, Cassi went to sleep. Veronica wasn't tired, so she heard the real reason why Danielle wanted them in bed, as the car headed out, surely to go buy the dress Cassi had most liked when they'd gone shopping earlier. She attempted to shake Cassi awake, but one glimpse of the bunnies on her diaper kept her docile, and silent, sucking away at her paci and waiting to be tired enough to fall asleep herself.

Easter morning, she was given nothing more than a shirt that barely covered her breasts, a bunny ear headband, and a fresh diaper, the same as Cassi. "The Easter Bunny told me he left eggs for both of you," Danielle said, once they were both ready. "Isn't that nice of him?"

Cassi nodded, while Veronica simply blushed, squirming, wanting to tell Danielle she knew the truth, that she wasn't a baby like Cassi. It hardly felt genuine, considering what she was wearing... And the dribble of warmth she felt in her diaper. Was Cassi even damp yet?! She tried to steal a peek, hoping so, but each time, all she saw was the bunnies on the girl's diaper.

"Just look for a V or a C on them," Danielle instructed. "He told me he picked out the most darling dresses for each of you for the party, but only if you can find all your eggs!"

Had she really bought her a dress?! A baby dress, like what Cassi wore?! That made it all feel so real... Whether it stayed here, in the closet, or at her own place, she hated the thought of having something like that of her own... It would be so much harder for her to pretend this had all been a bad dream...

As it turned out, however, she shouldn't have worried. The eggs weren't that well hidden - she could see several of them, in fact - but any time she caught a glimpse of the bunnies on either her, or Cassi's diaper, she forgot about those, crawling somewhere else, finding nothing... By the time Danielle brought the two of them a morning bottle, Cassi was nearly done, and she hadn't found a single one.

"Come on, Veronica!" Cassi urged. "If you don't find them, you'll hafta go to the party in that!"

Veronica knew the party was for other ageplayers, at least, not anyone she'd know from around here, but she didn't want them to see her this way, to assume she was an AB like Cassi... Unfortunately, when she tried to look again, she came face to face with the pile bunny diapers in Cassi's stash. She stared, mind reeling, seeing only glimpses of the design on each, yet knowing that there were so many bunnies there, all watching her, judging her...

She sucked obediently on her bottle, other hand reaching forward, bracing herself, getting her body ready to start to push...

It was, it turned out, very hard to claim she was one of the adults when she was the only one with her diapers so plainly visible. The other babies were all in fresh, new outfits, childish, but long enough to hide their padding, for the most part. She caught glimpses as they played, and dresses flared up, or pants slid down... Her shirt came nowhere near the waistband, much less the rest of the diaper, though, so everyone, at all times, could see it.

"You know, if you were curious about all this, you could have talked to me," Danielle told her, as she got her ready for bed that night. "I would have been happy to help you explore it... This really wasn't the way to do it."

"I-I'm sorry," Veronica blushed. She did feel bad about it, even though it, obviously, had never been her intention for things to end up this way. After two messy diapers, and quite a few wet ones, it was hard to blame Danielle for assuming otherwise, however. She assumed things would go back to normal the next day, when Danielle had to go back to work. Obviously, she'd let Veronica out of diapers so she could be a babysitter again...

Instead, she was surprised to be woken up by an unfamiliar woman, a few years older than her, giving her a diaper check, and finding her soggy. "Hello, there," she smiled at Veronica. "My name is Kerry... I'm going to be your babysitter!"

"No," Veronica tried to explain. "I'm the babysitter! I don't need one!" One look at the diaper around her waist, however, shut her up, sent her back to nursing her pacifier silently.

Her only excuse was how absurd it was, how unlikely, but it wasn't until, later that day, as she sat in the playpen, and, after a long moment of staring at her diaper, getting lost in the bunnies, started to fill it once more, that she realized that was what was doing it. It had to be the bunnies... She didn't know how, just that, whenever she saw them, she forgot herself, started to act more babyish.

Could it be because of Easter? Was she wrong about the Easter Bunny? Had he heard her, trying to convince Cassi he wasn't real, and used those to get his revenge? They'd been in Cassi's diaper stash for a while, though, and Veronica had put her in them many times, and this hadn't happened...

There had to be some other explanation, something in the diapers themselves. Perhaps she was allergic to the perfume they used, or something... She tried to explain that to Danielle, but it sounded even more ridiculous out loud, and Cassi refused to let her wear any other diaper to prove it wouldn't happen if she was away from the bunnies.

All she could do was wait, watching the stack slowly dwindle, knowing, with each passing day, that it was less and less likely that Cassi would ever take her seriously as a babysitter again, after she'd spent so long helplessly wetting and messing herself right alongside her, acting like even more of a baby than her...

Finally, the bunny diapers ran out. Veronica felt a huge sense of relief, a weight lifting off her chest, when Kerry told her, "Guess we'll have to go with these today!", choosing a white and green diaper instead.

"I'm not gonna need them," Veronica boasted.

It didn't take long for her to be proven wrong, but the little dribble of pee didn't mean much... It had been a couple weeks, it would take her bladder time to recover. At the very least, she wouldn't be pooping her pants today, for the first time in far too long.

Except... She did. She was sitting in the playpen when, without warning, she settled back onto her crinkly bottom, and felt a familiar squelch. "No!" she whimpered, shaking her head, reaching back and, sure enough, feeling a squishy mass in her pants. "That's not fair! Why?!"

It didn't take long, this time, for her to figure it out, as she looked around the playpen, at the companion Cassi had left there to keep her company while she helped with lunch. It was her stuffed bunny, the same one Veronica had picked up and put in the crib, back when this first started...

"Wait," she mumbled behind her paci, picking up the bunny and staring at it. "Was it you?"

She had been so sure it was the diapers, but, since it was one of Cassi's favorites, the bunny had been there the whole time, too. Of course, that made even less sense... It had also been there ever since Veronica had started to babysit Cassi, so why, all of the sudden, would she start having this reaction to it?!

"Hey, Cassi," she asked after naptime, as they waited in the crib for Kerry to come let them out, "where did you get this?"

Cassi looked down at the stuffed animal in her arms, pondering. "Umm... I think the Easter Bunny gave him to me one year," she said after a while. "Isn't he cute?" she giggled, cuddling with it harder, nuzzling her face into its fur.

"Was that before you started wearing diapers?"

Cassi had to think even harder for the answer to that one, and only came up with, "Maybe?" in response.

Veronica had a feeling the answer was really yes... That, in fact, whether it was the 'Easter Bunny' who had given it to her or not, that the bunny was the root of all this, that she'd started to become an AB after she'd gotten it. And now, the same thing had happened to her... She tried to think back, to figure out if she'd ever touched the toy before she was cleaning up that day. Like Cassi's appeared to be, her memory was fuzzy, but it was possible she hadn't, that Cassi had always been the one to move it.

She knew what she had to do. She bided her time until the next garbage day, and then, when the opportunity passed her by while she was stuck in the playpen, the next, and the next, waiting until, finally, she had a shot. Eventually, it happened... Kerry was distracted, changing Cassi, and Veronica was playing with dolls, away from the playpen, when she heard the sound of the garbage truck at the end of the street.

She didn't care that her shirt, as usual, didn't cover her diaper, or that her diaper itself was drooping, soggy, as always. She grabbed the bunny and toddled out the nursery door, through the house, outside, tossing it into the garbage can at the end of the drive, then bashfully waddling back to the house, feeling the eyes of the baffled garbage men on her.

She got a spanking for going outside, but, thankfully, since the other two had been distracted by the diaper change, they hadn't seen what she'd done, or she knew she would have been in even more trouble. Cassi did realize the toy was gone before too long, of course, and they spent most of the rest of the day searching for it.

Veronica felt bad, seeing how heartbroken the girl was, but she knew it would be for the best, in the long run. Now they could both grow up again... Veronica would get there first, since she hadn't been regressed for as long, and, once she did, she could be the babysitter again, like she was supposed to be. She didn't know how long it would last, though hopefully long enough for her to find another job.

She didn't think anything about it when, the next day, after Cassi's bunny was still lost, Danielle returned home with a shopping bag. "I'm so sorry, sweetie," she told Cassi. "I couldn't find anything quite like it... But this one is cute, too, right?"

Cassi was reluctant to take the stuffed rabbit, though, after giving it a hug, she nodded grumpily, accepting that it was as good as she was going to get.

"And, so you don't get jealous," Danielle smiled, taking another bunny out of the bag and handing it to Veronica.

As soon as she saw it, she felt it happen again, even before she could politely say 'Thank you.' She grabbed it, her backside raising up as she started to suck mindlessly on her pacifier.

"Oh, good," Kerry commented. "I was starting to think I'd have to give her an enema..."

Veronica groaned and grunted, feeling her diaper start to balloon outwards as, for the first time since she'd gotten rid of the other bunny, she began to poop her pants. It hadn't been the bunny after all, she realized... At least, not that specific bunny.

It was all bunnies. It had been the bunnies on the diapers, Cassi's old stuffed bunny, and now these new ones... Every bunny she saw made her act like a baby. There was no escaping this after all... Even if she could avoid seeing both of the toy rabbits now in this house long enough to prove she could be a grown-up again, she wouldn't be able to go out in public without protection, never knowing, for sure, she wouldn't catch a glimpse of another one on a billboard, or a box of macaroni, or some little kid's shirt...

This had been the Easter Bunny, she thought to herself. As much as she knew it wasn't real, that was the only explanation. He'd been mad at what she'd done after all, and this was his revenge... Now, all she could do was hope that, by the time next Easter came around, he'd be willing to forgive her, or she might never get out of diapers again.
