A story commission from an anonymous Patron. This chapter, and probably the next, are technically full story length, but I'm posting them for all tiers to read because I'm catching up on rewards for the person commissioning it, so, depending on how long it goes, the chapters might end up switching to short story length.

Rebecca had been anxious when she'd first answered the ad. Even before going to see the apartment, she'd been terrified of exactly what she was going to see when she walked in, only to find, sure enough, that she'd been right to be, that it was, in fact, an Amazon waiting there for her.

It turned out, however, that it wasn't a trap, that Lauren - the young woman who had made the ad - wasn't setting a trap, waiting for an unsuspecting little to answer so she could capture them and turn them into her baby. She was, just as she'd said in the ad, looking for a roommate, and that was all. Rebecca had been cautious, of course, ready to bolt for the door at any moment, searching for any sign of diapers, or baby toys, or anything else that might be a warning that this nice act was fake, but she didn't spot anything.

And the apartment was pretty nice... Since it was designed for an Amazon, it was spacious, with more than enough room for Rebecca and all of her stuff. "Well?" Lauren had asked, once the tour was over. "What do you think? If you're interested, we can finalize this right now... Not trying to rush you, but I do have other people scheduled to come take a look..."

It did feel like a rush, though not necessarily an unjustified one. It would probably be okay... Lauren hadn't specified that she was looking for a little, after all, hadn't shown any signs that she was especially happy to have one show up at her door, hadn't even gushed over how cute Rebecca was, in the way that the smaller woman knew was a definite warning sign for ulterior motives. And she really didn't want to risk losing her chance to live there.

"Sounds good," she'd nodded, holding out her hand, "roomie."

And, in the few months since then, it had turned out to be a great choice. If Lauren had any interest in adopting anyone, she'd kept it completely hidden from Rebecca, who had never caught her gazing wistfully at any regressed littles when they were out and about together, or looking at websites on her phone when they were idly watching TV, or treating her like anything but a grown-up, fully capable roommate. She had plenty of chances to snoop, too, more than she had on the tour, and still hadn't come across any diapers stockpiled in the back of the other girl's closet.

She knew there were Amazons like this, ones who either weren't interested in adoption, or at least who had some respect for littles, and would actually take the time to find the ones who wanted that, instead of forcing it on one who struck their fancy, who looked particularly cute, or who annoyed them in some way and 'deserved' comeuppance. She'd always assumed they were pretty rare, that it was better to assume that any Amazon she met wouldn't be like that, but, it seemed, she'd struck gold.

Then, one day, she came home, and there was another little there, sitting in the middle of the living room, wearing just a t-shirt and diaper, both pink, sucking happily on a pacifier. Rebecca froze, the image making her mouth go dry, her cheeks darken, staring at the girl's brown hair and blue eyes - the same as her, though the former was pulled into a pair of ponytails, held with two bright yellow ribbons - and the bulky, shiny diaper she'd worked for so long to avoid being in herself.

"You're back!" Lauren chirped, turning around in the sofa to face the entrance. "Rebecca, I want you to meet Kellie. Kellie, wave hi!"

Obediently, the diapered girl did as she was told, giggling around her pacifier, Rebecca's stomach feeling queasy at the sight. What was this?! Had Lauren found a little to adopt, and not mentioned it to her?! That felt like a pretty big violation of their unspoken agreement as roomies, adding a third person to the apartment... It was, ultimately, Lauren's apartment, however.

Rebecca had never told Lauren explicitly how she felt about this sort of thing, had assumed she must know that she was one of the 'mature ones', having never wet the bed, or had any accidents whatsoever, around her. She hadn't told her how uncomfortable this would make her, either, although that felt like it should be obvious... In her experience, there weren't many littles who would be comfortable with it, at least not until the Amazons got their hands on them and forced them to be.

"Is everything okay?" Lauren frowned.

Rebecca shook her head, forcing a smile; if Lauren had adopted one little, she might have gotten the taste for it, might be willing to punish Rebecca for being rude... She had to snap out of this, act 'nice', then decide what she was going to do when she was alone. "Hi, Kellie!" she waved back. "Sorry, it was a long day at work... I just spaced out."

"I get it," Lauren nodded. "Come sit with us, then! We'll help take your mind off it!"

Rebecca wasn't sure that was what she wanted, but she didn't dare say no. She tentatively walked over to the sofa, biting her bottom lip as she passed a diaper bag, clearly full of supplies, on the way, having to clasp her hands together to keep them from obviously shaking.

Kellie had already lost interest, turning back to the television, staring up at the screen, and the cartoon playing on it, blissfully, giggling and bouncing in place in response to what was happening. Lauren was watching, smiling, shaking her head in amusement, before glancing over at her roommate. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you she was going to be here... My sister had an emergency she had to take care of, so it was a last minute thing."

"Oh," Rebecca chuckled softly to herself, hardly able to believe she'd let herself so easily assume the worst about her friend, "so she's your sister's?"

"Yep!" Lauren replied. "She adopted her last year! We haven't had a ton of time to bond yet, so I'm excited for it... I probably should have warned you about it beforehand, though."

Now Rebecca really felt bad. "No, it's fine," she shook her head. "Your sister needed help! You did the right thing. I don't mind!"

She did her best not to, to live up to her own words, but it was hard not to be impacted by what she was seeing. She'd never really seen anything like it this close up... In the last year or so of high school and college, she'd seen some classmates who couldn't quite handle the pressure - or who had already been claimed by an Amazon - and, throughout her life, there were littles who truly did have accidents on their own, who needed protection... Even the ones under the thumb of Amazons didn't wear so openly, or act so childishly, however. If they were still being allowed to go to school, the Amazons didn't want a full baby, or were easing them into it, and the littles who were dealing with their weak bodily control themselves definitely didn't want anyone to spot their padding.

And, of course, she'd seen plenty of Amazons looking after littles out in the real world. It was impossible to avoid! She always made sure to steer clear of them, though, not to get too close... Now, Kellie was just a few feet in front of her, so close she could smell the baby powder, hear the rustling of her diaper. She showed no signs of caring about what she was wearing, of being self-conscious that this stranger had shown up and was staring at her; she was happy, watching her cartoons.

Lauren looked pretty happy, too, for that matter. She was watching Kellie, too, a strange, unfamiliar look in her eyes, one Rebecca hadn't seen before. After her earlier misstep, she didn't want to automatically think badly of her roomie, wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. This was, basically, her niece now... It was probably familial love she was seeing there, not some sense of longing.

"Hey, Kells?" Lauren said, as the cartoon ended, "Do you want a snack?"

"Yeah!" the girl giggled, turning to face them on the couch, bouncing some more. Rebecca's cheeks lit up on her behalf, noticing only then the slight discoloration in the diaper's crotch, one that she was positive meant it was wet. When had that happened?! Rebecca didn't think it had been like that all along... She hadn't taken her eyes off Kellie for more than a moment or two at a time, and hadn't seen any signs of her doing it intentionally, or being shocked or worried by it happening. Was she so used to it, it hadn't registered to her, hadn't been enough to distract her from her show? Or had she not realized it had happened yet herself?

"You can come, too," Lauren suggested. "I know you can make your own snack, but if I'm going to be making something anyway..." She shrugged. "It would be a big help. It'll be easier for me to get stuff together if you can watch her for a minute."

"O-Okay," Rebecca nodded uncertainly. This was a good thing, she told herself. If Lauren trusted her to be a babysitter, even temporarily, that meant she didn't see her as a baby herself, right? She did worry it might make her complicit in what was being done to Kellie, though she still had yet to see any sign the girl was bothered by it, so perhaps it wasn't a problem. "Yeah, I can do that." She owed it to Lauren for making those assumptions about her.

"Thanks!" Lauren smiled. "Come on, Kellie, let's go to the table!"

Kellie scrambled to her feet, as quickly as someone in such a huge diaper could, at least. Rebecca hopped down from the sofa, falling into step behind them, looking at the girl's diaper starting to droop slightly, and noting how, even with her heels, she was around the same height at Kellie, meaning that, without them, she was maybe an inch or two shorter. Seeing her, sitting there on the floor the way she had been, Rebecca had assumed she must be so much smaller than she was... Being left 'in charge' only seemed more silly now.

Kellie had a definite waddle, too, one Rebecca had seen many times, again - like everything else - not quite so close up. It really wasn't her fault... Rebecca could see her diaper compressed between her thighs, seemingly as far as the bulky padding could squeeze, but it still bulging out too far to allow her the luxury of walking normally. That made Rebecca all the more aware of how she was walking, of how lucky she was to be able to do that without the same impairments. There was a huge difference between the soft, clumsy padding of Kellie's bootied feet on the floor, and the deliberate clicking of Rebecca's heels on the hardwood as she carefully placed one foor in front of the other, walking as straight as she could.

Lauren lifted Kellie up into a brightly colored, plastic booster seat, one her sister must have dropped off with the rest of the supplies, strapping her in. Rebecca had her own booster seat, although neither she, nor the company that made them, called them that... Since the chairs and tables, like everything else in the apartment, were scaled for Amazons, it was a necessity. She'd been a bit embarrassed about it when she first got it, but Lauren hadn't made fun of her for it, or even brought it up, so Rebecca hadn't given a second thought to using it for a while now...

That, of course, changed after seeing Kellie in her more childish version of the same thing. Rebecca's was plain, wooden, made to blend in with the chair as much as possible, and didn't have the straps to keep her from falling out... But functionally, it wasn't that different. She really didn't want to sit in it right now, though she knew it would be much worse to sit in a chair without it. She'd barely be able to reach the tabletop, and she'd look even more like the smallest person in the room, sitting down so low...

"So, uh..." she mumbled, after climbing into her seat, staring across the table at Kellie, "Do you have any... hobbies?" What did you even talk to somebody like this about?! Should she try to see if, under her sunny exterior, she was struggling to grown back up, to be a big girl again? Would it make any difference? Rebecca wasn't going to be able to do anything about it at the moment...

"Yeah!" Kellie bobbed her head. "I like to color, and go to the park, and, umm... Cartoons..." She paused, her tongue peeking out of her mouth as she wracked her brains. "And dollies!" she exclaimed, after a long moment. "Those are fun, too!"

"Y-Yeah," Rebecca nodded awkwardly, not sure where to go from there.

"You like dollies, too?" Kellie's eyes lit up. "You want to play?"

"Oh!" Rebecca blushed, realizing what her response had sounded like. "W-Well, I don't... I-I'm not sure..."

"I have lots of dollies," Kellie assured her. "I can share!"

"Th-Those are yours," Rebecca shook her head. "I-I wouldn't want to..."

"No, we share!" Kellie insisted.

Rebecca gulped, starting to sweat a little. She didn't want to upset the girl, though, on the other hand, she didn't want to be stuck on the floor, playing with her, for the rest of the afternoon. It seemed like Lauren knew the difference between them, that Rebecca wasn't like Kellie... If she saw her doing that, however, would that change? She honestly wasn't sure... "M-Maybe," Rebecca said diplomatically. "I-I have things I need to do, b-but..."

Thankfully, before she had to go any further, Lauren rescued her, swooping in, very carefully carrying three bowls of ice cream in her arms. "Let me help!" Rebecca started to hop down from her seat, glad for anything to end the conversation, but before she could, Lauren had already set the bowls down at her own place.

"I got it, thanks," she smiled, handing one bowl over the table to her roomie. "There you go!"

"Thanks," Rebecca took it, settling back down in her seat, happy to see she'd gotten the bowl with the metal spoon, rather than the pink, plastic one. Lauren stepped over beside Kellie, tying a bib around her neck, then set that bowl on the table in front of her.

"Do you want to feed yourself, sweetie?" she asked.

"Yeah!" Kellie giggled.

Lauren raised an eyebrow with a skeptical, "Okay," but left the girl to her own devices, returning to her own chair. Rebecca carefully picked at her ice cream, still finding it hard to take her gaze off the girl in front of her, jabbing at her own food with the spoon, as if she had almost no idea of how it worked, like she'd only seen them in use when grown-ups fed her, instead of having done it herself. She managed to get a little ice cream onto the spoon, just to have it tumble into the pocket on her bib when she attempted to get it to her mouth.

What happened next really shocked Rebecca, made her cheeks go red on the girl's behalf. Frustrated, Kellie dropped her spoon, then reached into the bowl with her hand, sloppily grabbing some of the frozen treat, bringing it up to her face. It looked like she got some into her mouth, judging by her smile, but most wound up around it, instead. Her glee at the sweet taste was short-lived as she shivered, "It's cold!"

Lauren looked over, chuckling at the little girl's predicament. "Well, of course it is, silly! What are you doing?" She stood up, picking up her bowl, walking back to Kellie's side, gently taking her hand, getting most of the ice cream back into the bowl before cleaning the girl's, and her own, hands with a wet wipe. "Why don't I help you?" she suggested, picking up the plastic spoon, sitting down beside Kellie.

Kellie seemed disappointed at first, but in no time, she was happily letting herself be spoon-fed, Lauren taking bites of her own ice cream as the girl savored hers, while Rebecca stared. "Are you not hungry?" Lauren asked her.

"Huh?" Rebecca glanced down, seeing her own ice cream was starting to melt. "Sorry," she shook her head. "Like I said, long day..." She picked up her spoon, forcing herself to look away from the show playing out in front of her and concentrate on her treat. If she hadn't been distracted, she could have easily finished first, gotten out of there, retreated to her room, but, instead, all three were done at around the same time.

"Could you take her back to the living room while I clear the table and get it cleaned up a little?" Lauren requested, wiping Kellie's face and hands off again, even her careful feeding not enough to keep the girl from making a bit of a mess.

"Sure," Rebecca agreed, not wanting to look selfish. Lauren lifted Kellie down from the booster, and the girl's hand clamped around Rebecca's. Rebecca's nose wrinkled, certain she still felt a stickiness there, despite Lauren's attempts to clean her up, her heart thumping, the closeness making her more aware of how close in size the two were. Even her earlier estimation seemed to be off... Heels or not, Kellie appeared to be just a hair taller than Rebecca, which made their situation all the more ridiculous, considering which one of them was clearly the grown-up, clearly the one in charge.

"L-Let's go," Rebecca told the girl, glad that she obeyed, since she wasn't sure she was strong enough to force her to. She had to slow down to accommodate her charge's pace, blushing every time Kellie stumbled and her diaper brushed against Rebecca's side with a crinkle. The smell of baby powder was still there, but definitely mixed with a faint whiff of ammonia now, to confirm that she wasn't imagining the slight sag in the crotch of the diaper.

Rebecca hurriedly scrambled onto the sofa once they were in the living room, separating herself from the girl as much as she could without leaving entirely, knowing by now that Kellie definitely needed constant supervision, like an actual toddler. Kellie didn't notice at first, waddling her way over to her backpack of toys, until she emerged with a stuffed animal in each hand. "Play?" she asked, staring up at Rebecca hopefully.

Rebecca groaned, remembering their conversation at the table. "I-I don't know," she said uncertainly.

"Play!" Kellie repeated, stomping her foot, pouting.

"Okay, okay," Rebecca sighed, not wanting to start a tantrum. "Why don't you bring them over here, and I can play up on the sofa, and you can..."

"Nooo!" Kellie whined, stomping again, plopping down on the floor. "Play!"

"You can't play by yourself?" Rebecca asked, but she didn't even wait for a response, seeing the girl's face starting to scrunch up, knowing what was happening. "All right, I'm coming," she slid off the sofa, hurrying over, accepting the floppy-necked giraffe she was offered. Reluctantly, she sat down next to the girl, hating to think about how much she must look like her equal, rather than the one in charge.

She felt silly, sitting there, playing with dolls, but it was keeping Kellie happy, so she went with it, waiting for Lauren to arrive and rescue her. They'd been at it for a little while before she saw Kellie get a strange look on her face, one that seemed familiar, though Rebecca's brain couldn't recognize it, or wouldn't let her accept it.

The girl stopped playing, standing up slightly, raising herself into a partial squat. "Umm... I-Is everything all right?" Rebecca asked nervously, wondering if she should go get Lauren.

"Watcha doing, sweetie?" Rebecca jumped, turning to see Lauren standing there behind the sofa, setting her phone down on the back of it, clearly having just been snapping a picture.

Rebecca's nose wrinkled as she heard Kellie give a little grunt, before she even heard the muffled toot coming from her backside, perhaps finally acknowledging, subconsciously, what was happening. Then, sure enough, she saw the diaper begin to bulge outwards, a lump starting to form as Kellie managed to groan out, "Poopin'!"

Rebecca was shocked, unable to move despite her disgust as she watched the diaper continue to grow, expanding outwards to catch the girl's 'accident', if it even was that. It was hard to tell... It didn't appear to bother Kellie at all, or gross her out the way it did Rebecca... It was a fact of life, nothing more. Rebecca squirmed, stomach lurching at the very thought of it, at the smell...

"All right, you little stinker, let's get you changed!" Lauren chuckled, as Kellie appeared to finish. Kellie giggled, playfully toddling away when Lauren approached. Rebecca, finally snapped out of her trance, hopped to her feet, scrambling to the couch, watching as Kellie was chased around the room before she was finally caught, Lauren laying her down on the floor and giving her tummy a tickle, raising her shirt for a raspberry, then walking over and picking up the diaper bag.

She didn't take the girl to another room, to anywhere more private... She unpacked the supplies right there, Kellie having found the stuffed bunny she'd been playing with before she'd pooped her pants and becoming engrossed in it again. Rebecca couldn't look away, staring in horror as Lauren spread out the changing pad, move Kellie onto it, then changed her into a fresh diaper, neither appearing to think, or care, about the fact that anyone else was in the room.

Thankfully, once it was all over, Kellie handed Lauren the giraffe, and was happy to play with her instead of Rebecca, who slipped back to her room until she heard Lauren's sister return to pick the girl up. She planned on spending the rest of the evening there, alone with her thoughts, until she heard a soft tap on her door.

"Are you hungry?" Lauren asked. "I cooked... I wanted to thank you for helping me out today."

Part of Rebecca wanted to tell her no, but her tummy really was starting to rumble, the snack not quite enough to get her through the night. Sheepishly, she opened up her door, looking up at the woman on the other side. "Sorry I left, I just needed to take care of..."

"No, it's fine," Lauren assured her. "You'd done more than your share already."

Rebecca followed her back to the dining room, heading for her chair, only to freeze, seeing her wooden seat extender replaced with Kellie's booster. "Oh, sorry," Lauren told her, seeing her alarm. "My sister left that here on accident, and I was looking at it, and I thought it might be more comfortable than yours. You don't have to use it, though! It was just a thought..."

"I-I don't..." Rebecca shook her head, mortified at the idea of it... Although, on the other hand, Lauren was right. Hers was, basically, a slab of wood, with no padding. She could have added some herself, but she never had, afraid it would look too much like... Well, like what was on her chair now. The booster's padding was built in, and, while it was covered in plastic to make it easier to clean up, it was almost definitely going to be more pleasant to sit on.

"I'll switch it back!" Lauren told her. "I shouldn't have..."

"No," Rebecca stopped her, feeling bad when she saw how quick her roomie was to try to accommodate her. She really did seem to just want to make her more comfortable... It was a nice gesture. "I'll give it a try."

And, sure enough, when she hopped up onto it, it was so much better than the stiff, wooden seat she was used to. Honestly, she kind of hated how good it felt, almost wondered if hers had been made so uncomfortable to make something like this seem like a better alternative. As much as she wanted to despise it, she couldn't... She just wished she couldn't hear it crackling beneath her with every move, reminding her of Kellie's diaper...

A great beginning! I'm looking forward to the slow progression of concessions each that seem insignificant at first but in hindsight you see she was giving up more and more of her adult life with each one.
