Quinn's all kinds of train wreck, but she's fun to watch. And from a writing standpoint, she's a very effective conflict generator. One of my favorite scenes is when she walks in on the MC with Sage and is shocked for a second, then delighted to have discovered this new dirt. He's trying to escape and she leans in and goes, "I see you."

So many things waiting for us in episode 6 potentially. Quinn’s trouble with Mona and seemingly her supplier, the mysterious letter about your mom, fixing the mansion, the fallout from Quinn going behind Tommy’s back about the party...

Why do I have a feeling much like those mysterious envelopes Chad got earlier, that we won't find out what's in that letter anytime soon? I'm thinking it has something to do with inheritence or at least her side of the family.

Yeah my theory on it is that her wealthy family found out about the MC going to college and want to help pay for tuition. Just as long as we don't find out the MC is actually a Royce.. boy would that suck.

I would saw Josy and Maya are the 2 main,.. then Sage, Isabela and Jill are secondary. with Quinn being somewhat a secondary as shes kinda behind a paywall. very little interaction with her unless you're fucking. same as the rest of the girls more of a one-off with a sex scene.

Really depends on your choices with Maya and Josy. I told them I only want to be friends, to me that ends the romance with them, and I have pursued Jill and Bella since. But Dr. Pink Cake is a masterful writer, so anything is possible.

lol oh god, please no. I haven't played episode 5 yet, but I have a small fear that a Tommy/Josy storyline could be introduced.

My concern was the MC would be Jill’s nephew. MC’s mom was 6 years younger than his dad, came from a wealthy family, and died during childbirth. Jill has an older sister who died and is from a wealthy family. Also the fact that we haven’t been able to do more with Jill beyond some kissing and an accidental boob grab... I know its probably because shes supposed to be more conservative and old fashioned... but you never know.

Oh believe me I don't want that to happen, nor do I think DPC would do that. I would be sad if I couldn't continue dating Jill, she's my favorite of the ladies.

I had that "theory" too but the math doesn't add up. Jill's 20/21 (third grade student), and even if MC's mother got pregnant at 18 that would mean Jill was 2 when she died, it couldn't have those fond memories of her that she says she have. I mean, DPC can still do whatever he wants and make crazy plot twist but this in particular would be a little far fetch.

Since episode 1 I've thought the twist would be that the protagonist's mother is still alive and just abandoned him.

I also think the protagonist's dad and Tybalt look suspiciously similar, and that the main "bad guy" behind everything is Vinnie, the DIK that got kicked out, probably working with Nick and maybe one of the HOTs.

yeah no incest is allowed. people who right it started using friend and shit to avoid it but if jill was related then u would know by name and that would throw that out course there is the option of jill or your mom being adopted into the family more likely jill than you but im more in the camp of mc being related to one of the rich guy characters like maybe mcs mom was steven burkes sister or something or maybe a burgmeister though u would think mcs dad would mention that if that was the case

hah, and I'd honestly be fine with that even if Jill was related, I'd still romance her. Not like they were raised in the same household, it'd be like Jon Snow & Daenerys which I had no issue with, either.

Ya I strongly suspect Vinnie is heavily involved. From the little "flashback" scene in Episode 5 I was like wow...that dude is just a straight up asshole. He references "knowing a guy" regarding alcohol supplies for Rusty when they were talking, and that leads me to wonder if he and Quinn got close and now he may be supplying her with her "goods".

After completing Acting lessons I simply had to see DIKS and surely it was even better, The mini games were great the experience even better. I simply can't wait for the continuation of this title and am overly happy to lend my support to this amazing animator keep up the awesome work pink.

Agree man. After coming from Acting Lessons I was surprised that DIK was even better. I'll admit that I think AL was a tighter game, and I felt more connected to the other characters, but DIK is generally bigger and better in every way.

I had never even heard of Acting Lessons until after I bought Being a DIK on Steam on a whim. Loved it so much I had to support DPC on here, and finally played Acting Lessons tonight, just finished it a couple of hours ago... while the renders aren't as polished as Being a DIK, the story and characters were simply incredible. Never saw some of the plot twists coming and the emotional roller coaster it put me on... I love Derek... but man, Liam.... every decent human being needs a Liam in their life...

I never had the heart to get all the endings because I couldn't make the necessary decisions regarding the two main girls. Part of me was happy that in my playthrough of DIK Maya and Josie chose eachother instead of the alternative, because that would have felt too similar to AL. But, yeah, AL had some real gut punches that I didn't expect. I think the focus on only a couple characters really helped the player connect.

In one of my playthroughs of Being a DIK, I was able to get Josy and Maya to agree to a 3 way relationship, but immediately went back to my save point right before that choice and told them I only wanted to be friends. The idea of some kind of 3 way relationship just doesn't appeal to me no matter how much I liked both Josy and Maya.

@bgray9054 I agree whole heartedly with the Vinnie line. I could see Tommy and him having issues. I also think Melanie may have been the picture taker to get back at the DIKs for Chad line we just saw in 5

I honestly think there's more to the story if you choose to stay friends with Maya and Josy instead of going into a relationship with them. The scene afterwards (I followed Josy) seemed to allude to some regret in Josy's decision to be with just Maya and hinted at stronger feelings towards the MC. I think DRP left this door open on purpose to create that storytelling avenue for MC to still have a chance to be with one of them, but at the expense of hurting the other one.

OK, I have to say after MANY replays and playthroughs... Sage is my absolute favorite. The way the scenes describe her, you can feel the smoothness of her skin and Id imaging she smells of strawberries :)
