It's been roughly one year since my last Q&A post, so it's about time to have another one of these.

Ask your questions in the comment section below.

You can ask me about my games, game development, patreon, steam and anything you wish to know. 

For Being a DIK, I will keep my answers spoiler-free.

For Acting Lessons, there may be spoilers, for those of you who haven't played it yet. 

After 1-2 weeks I will answer the ones I can. If there are too many questions to answer, I will answer a subset of them.

If you feel like some questions asked should be answered, you can upvote the comments and I will take this into extra consideration when picking the questions for my Q&A post.

What is the possible release time for episode 5 because last one almost took 6 months hope this time it will be quicker

Is the look of the characters completely based on your imagination or are there templates that inspire you? Apart from that, where does the inspiration for the characters background stories come from? Are there certain media you use to get into the mood to write these stories?

When planning the game do you have the whole story mapped out, or just the main story beats and you wing it a little with the details? How do you keep track of so many moving parts, especially when it comes to dialogue; like a character references something someone else has done?

Hi there, I discovered your game recently and I just think it's awesome I wanted to thank you for this great game, it's fun, the characters are great and every plot is beautifully designed. I just had one question are you planning to expand the content through the dating app and will envy get more content? I'm a fan of Envy, she's a nice sidecharacter, but everyone else is great too. Just curious on the music for the future are thinking like sum 41 style music or blink 182 from back in early 2000's

Where do the ideas for these stories come from? Some of them seem personal.

Most patreon pages with this many patreons don't work solo anymore. They have 3-8 people that work actively on the project. Do you still work alone or do you get any help from employee/friends? Anf if you do, in which field? (Music,design,story,rendering...) If not, are you planning to recrute people? Thanks in Advance. Love your games, keep up the fantastic work! :P

With the steam releases, will each season have to be bought separately or when the whole game is finished can I buy a version of the game which would have all the seasons packaged together for a higher price? Keep up the good work.

In the scene where Jill and the MC were talking in bed after he had been assaulted by Chad, she mentioned that money wasn't everything and indicated that she would be happy to give it up for happiness. I noticed how this appeared to be similar to the conversation that the MC had with his father at the start of the game regarding how his father met his mother and that she ran away from her wealthy family to find happiness with the father. Was this planned as a possible storyline for Jill (history repeating itself)? or a genuine coincidence?

It seems like you are pushing Ren'py to it's limits. Have you ever considered another game engine?

After four chapters, are there any characters who have really surprised you and grown in a direction you hadn't really planned for at the start? Or has everything pretty much built up how you'd initially intended?

In a future after Being a DIK will you consider developing another game? And if that's the case will it still be based on our age and culture or will you try something that you've never done, like environments of past or the future and unknown stories?

Question of semantics: Do you see yourself more as a writer or a game developer in a technical sense? To ilustrate: I enjoy the game with good script and enjoy the ends of detail that the game has. (example: You don´t use Quinn services, it´s mentioned in the script. ) To top it off technologically, (as much as I moan about my bad fighter reflexes,) the game is beyond the current market. You manage to have the best of both words. Does writing influence the gameplay and wise versa?

So far, in Season 1 of Being a DIK, the Relationship Points (RP) haven't played any role unlocking certain paths or closing others (only DIK/CHICK status). Will they become more relevant in the near future (Season 2 or Season 3 if planned) ?

What does uncosered sex scene add to a videogame/narrative experience in your opinion ?

Do you create all of your characters in Daz3d (I.e. using morphs, pre-bought packages, changing the skin, eye and lip textures using photoshop etc)? or do you custom design in Zbrush, Substance Painter etc and then export into Daz (create your own morphs etc)? As someone who's always been fascinated by these style of games, I wondered if there's any course/resources you'd suggest to learn? Figured that given you worked in the industry you've probably picked up a lot of skills along the way.

I wonder - do you play any games of this kind yourself? Maybe some of them inspired you, or maybe some you consider the best and you try to make something like that, but even better? And anyway, how do you spend your free time, if you have one? Also at the computer, or vice versa, do you strive to spend as much time as possible outside of it? Thanks. )

Is there an ending already planned for this game or is it so far away you dont think about that yet? Will there be anykind of story as us/him trying to get out of collage? Getting the grades, taking more classes, having a mental breakdown becouse of school?

Will there be a post credits non cannon harem scene? Sometimes you finish a game and it's great but at the end you just want a scene you know wouldn't fit the games story but you still want it. A chick and a DIK version with different characters.

I have a question about one of the few things I don't like too much in Badik... In my opinion, the pubes were better in the 1st chapter, it seem you changed it? I've seen the new one (on Camilla particularly) in many games with lower quality... Is it because they are easier to render?

Were there any parts of the game inspired by your past like it did in Acting Lessons? In particular, the MC's backstory seemed to have a real connection to some sort of inspiration. Has your development process changed much between Acting Lessons and Being a Dik? I loved both of these games so much DPC, and I really like how different they both are. So whatever the answers are, keep on keeping on!

Since this game is coming out on STEAM, will Season 2 be automatically added to the existing base game or are you going to make season 2 a separate thing from Season 1?

What are your plans for the licensed music being added to the game; Do you plan on adding it in to the 1st seasons music, or just apply it to future seasons? Are you replacing the current tracks or just adding in more? Have you thought about the idea of character themes? I've noticed when I listen to certain tracks from the game, it reminds me of very specific charcters and moments. And as a final note, I just wanted to mention that this is (by far) the highest quality game in this nature I've seen. The models and, more importantly, the writing are both superb!
