I think this is the best tutorial you can find out there, in terms of simply stamping one texture onto another. I had to look around to find an up to date tutorial for this latest edition of Blender, that didn't include a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Still, it's rather long, and the guy's accent is hard to decipher.

Basically, you want to import the texture you want to stamp in the texture properties panel (the checkerboard button) of the scene outliner, then hit ctrl+tab go to texture paint mode, and go to the "texture" option within that mode, where you can select "stencil." The stencil can be stenciled onto your model now!

We still have the problem of our chosen tattoo being super low res, and showing hella aliasing in close-up. Thankfully, my buddy Noun came through, and provided us with the high res spade that I attached as the final image.

Now we can properly copy GeneralButch!
