Hey folks!

We've finally decided on branding for my (Nick) new show, Unpacked.

A new episode will be arriving every other weekend with the focus primarily being on breaking down the big industry news topic of the week, but I will also occasionally dive into some more thoughtful topics like todays on multiplayer gaming, and maybe some thoughts on a game I've been playing as well.

Thanks for your support as always, and hope you enjoy!

Learning to Use the Mic in Multiplayer Again | Unpacked

Often times we only hear about negative experiences when it comes to online games, but recently, developers seem to be making it a big priority to make games that focus on team synergy over individual competitiveness. Hell Let Loose is a great game to play and a mic is must. Best of all, the community(PS5) is amazing and welcoming. Give it a shot

Left multiplayer years ago when toxicity started triggering my mental health issues. Always figured if I ever found the right people/game/platform I might get back into it, but its further down the list. I'm more of a single-player gamer anyway. Always was. Its comforting to know its possible to get past that stuff if you try, and good on you Nick for it too. Interested to see what else you cover here as well.

I am very much a 1P person, as well, partly because of my experience with a mother who gamed (Zelda, Metroid, even Dragon Quest 1, where I heard her swear for the 1st time, lol I digress)… I was surprised to hear from my mom (considering the toxicity that I imagined, for online) that she thoroughly enjoyed Destiny 1 online. Found a friendly young fellow, who also played FF online, that was more than happy to assist her. There is always hope!
