Salaries Begin This Week + FAQ (Patreon)

Hey folks!

I'm very excited and proud to say that salaries begin this week, on February 1st, for our full-time members. This is a huge milestone for us, and one that I can't believe we're able to say we're doing in just three months. It doesn't feel real yet.

The entire team and I want to thank you for the support you've given us, allowing us to all continue doing the work we love unimpeded by corporate media companies that just wanted to bleed us dry for all we were worth.

Your support has exceeded all of our expectations, and we can safely say the team will never take it for granted. The positive feedback, the support of our team members you may have not given a chance to before, and the general vibe of Second Wind is everything we could have hoped for and will continue to build on.

With the amount of support we're receiving, we'll make sure you feel like you're getting your money's worth, we'll be trying new ideas that we weren't able to do before, and we'll continue to be transparent about how the business is running.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• When will financial updates be released? - We will be releasing them once a quarter. We'll share this one a bit early with salaries starting now so you can have an idea of what our actual expenses / month are, and after that the next one will be March 31st, 2024.|
  
  
• Are we getting a Darren Mooney podcast? - Yes! We are working on branding for it now and will be announcing it soon. Stay tuned!
  
  
• When will Adventure is Nigh S1 and S2 be available again? - They're being remastered, actively worked on and we will announce a date when we're ready! Expect them to start airing not long after Season 3 concludes!
  
  
• Why is my name not in the credits? - The credits start at the $10 tier, and we update it once a month around the 1st of every month. So if you join after that, you may not see your name till the next month. We have 1000's of names in the credits, so it takes time to update that.
  
  
• Which is better, annual or monthly? - Annual memberships get you a 10% discount, and we get the money for the year upfront, which is helping us build out that warchest. But it's completely up to you on how you'd like to support!
  
  
• When is the first Phoenix tier hangout? - The first hangout is scheduled for February 6th, and we'll be doing a movie night! We need a bit more time to put together the bigger event we plan on doing for the Phoenix tier which will be Trivia Nights!
  
  
• More merch? - Yes, we're planning for more designs, plushies, pins, stickers etc. There's a bit of lead time on getting those designs in and produced, so stay tuned for updates! Same for more shirt colors, we've heard the feedback on that! Same for EU supplier.
  
  
• More community game nights? - Yes, starting in February we will get back on track with that now that we're more setup and operating normally.
  
  
• Kickstarter? - We've decided to hold on doing a Kickstarter or any big fundraising event till later this year. The next fundraiser event we do will be for charity in April! If you'd like to support Second Wind with a bigger donation, we do have our Paypal for that.
  
  
• Are the Red Wings the best hockey team? - Yes, duh.
