Hm... I wanted to "complain" that, now that Darren does his own edits, the "God I love that nose..." comment would have deserved a reference to the 1968 Asterix & Cleopatra movie (itself referencing a Blaise-Pascal-quote) - but judging by what I can find online, this movie seems not to be as iconic to English-speakers as it was to me. (Shame. There would have been an interesting sidebar there...) - Darren: If you don't know it yet, please, treat yourself to that classic (I hope the English translation doesn't suck).

A very fun piece. Frankly I was a bit apprehensive about seeing Furiosa, my personal coping mechanism to survive the world is to try and stay away from the bleak, especially when I know it’s a prequel to a film that begins with a post-apocalyptic hellscape! However, you make it sound like there’s more than enough to explore and resonate with to give it a look (and I can always go back to Fury Road for catharsis), thanks as always.
