Happy birthday and great job on SSVB Yahtzee. You have actually inspired me to give GameMaker a try! Thanks!

Thanks for doing this. I'm an indie dev and eager to gain insight into others' process. But this show could maybe benefit from some mild/chill background music? The audio cuts to fully dead whenever anyone pauses. like background noise was removed procedurally (maybe too harshly), and breathing was edited out. which makes it feel like everyone is holding their breath every 5 seconds. like they all have pistols trained on them. plus some of the questions felt weirdly too-softball obvious? at least early on. (Like "did being a solo dev hobbyist contribute to it taking so long?" (yes. obviously). Followed up with "So, would it maybe have gone faster if you weren't a solo dev hobbyist?" (ah, you seem to be doubling down on the previous obvious question). ... Find myself wondering "what are they really trying to ask here?" instead of investing in the interaction ) Anthony Jeselnik (famous comedian) noted you can tell when he isn't happy to be on a podcast: because he'll give terse answers. Seemingly disinterested in elaborating. the first 5 to 10 minutes here made me think of that. (but maybe the audio mix is making it feel more abrupt and stilted) (and maybe that is yahtzee's personality) Anywho. only half an hour in. and much more into it now that everyone seems to be talking for longer periods of time. but thought rambling feedback might be helpful.

I think the pauses and breathing are fine as it's how most people talk. In my opinion it feels a bit more sincere and honnest and something that you can focus listening on. I personally find background music in podcasts and videos to be too distracting if people are talking about a topic I'm intrested.
