How important is the "combat" component in a narrative adult game?

Would love to see more costumes on our character. And more hair styles

I think the mechanics is OK. However I also think it would be nice to see better moves and combat sequences, even as they won't affect the combat mechanics. It is more on the visual style than mechanics.
