Hello Everyone! As I mentioned earlier, alongside developing the main game, I'm working on the TLB version on UE5. This is not a migration of the existing project but a new project built from scratch. I'm ready to share with you the "training" level where I test the basic mechanics that will form the foundation of the game.

Game States

In the game, there are several states the player can be in:

- *Explorer State*: The Barbarian cannot attack or dodge but can interact with objects.

- *Combat State*: The Barbarian can attack and dodge but cannot interact with objects or characters.

- *Interaction State*: When the Barbarian talks to someone, interacts with altars and objects, or engages in sexual activities, she cannot be attacked.

*Movement*

The Barbarian can walk, jog, and temporarily sprint. When armed, she can also roll to dodge attacks.

*Combat System*

The damage the Barbarian deals depends on the weapon and the type of attack she uses. Attacks can be single or combo, each with its own damage.

- *Light Attack (LMB)*: Has a combo of up to three different attacks.

- *Heavy Attack (RMB)*: Has a combo of up to two different attacks.

- *Charged Attack (HOLD LMB)*: Has no combo.

- *Sprint Attack*: During a sprint, press LMB.

Each attack uses stamina. If stamina is insufficient, the Barbarian cannot attack. Various types of weapons are planned to be introduced in the future.

*LEWD System*

Three types of scenes are planned:

- *Sex Interactions with Objects*: In the demo, there's an altar with a golden phallus for health restoration.

- *Quick Sex Scenes with Enemies*: If the Barbarian is defeated, she can choose to restart the level or use lust to seduce and defeat the opponent, restoring her health. In the demo, health is fully restored. With the RPG element introduced, the amount of health restored will depend on stats.

Unlike the classic version, the opponent needs to reach the barbarian within a certain time if he hears her call. If he fails to do so, you lose (in the future, with the introduction of RPG elements, this parameter can be upgraded).

In the demo, there is one opponent (a half-orc).

There are 3 scenes available with him. Each scene has an ending either inside or outside. If the ending is outside, there will be marks left on the skin (as it is done in Dungeons of N’ul). If inside, the consequences will also be visible.

- *Plot Scenes*: The player will have more control over the events (not added yet).

I have abandoned the fixed camera, allowing the player to set a free camera as desired. A first-person view will be added in the future.

*Moans and Emotions*

Sex animations are modular, so the character's moans and emotions are not rigidly tied to the scene, making them more replayable and varied. Currently, there are only a few, but the game is designed to easily expand this number in the future.

Plans for Future Releases

I want to implement a full RPG component that will affect both the combat system and the Barbarian's sexual preferences, as well as her experience in various poses. For example, the Barbarian might have preferences (Oral Lover). If the enemy chooses an oral stimulation pose, the health restored will be greater. Conversely, if the Barbarian does not derive enough pleasure from the chosen scene or her skill level in the pose is below the required, the restored health will be less. This will also affect the Barbarian's emotions during the scene.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

Currently, I cannot build UE for Mac as my old Mac cannot handle UE5 for building. I plan to buy a Mac Mini for this purpose, but I need some time to determine which model suits me best. I also plan to build for Linux.

Input System Support

UE uses the advanced Enhanced Input system, allowing for remapping controls and using keyboards with different layouts (e.g., Dvorak) and gamepads. Currently, the controls are set to QWERTY, but I will add the ability to remap controls in the next update (I need to study this topic a bit deeper).

FAQ

  • Will this be an exact copy of the original game?

No. I will use the original story but will make changes and additions.

  • Will the original version be updated?

Yes, it will be until I finish it. Right now, I’m working on a new release.

  • Will there be new plot twists?

Yes. And you can influence them by suggesting your options.

  • Will there be a character appearance customization system?

Yes. And it will be more extensive than in the original game.

As always, I appreciate your feedback and comments.

Stay Tuned!

Dack the Mtn Man

Both versions from Google and Mega, afterdownloading them from each source, have an error when clicking the Run file, "The procedure entry point CreateFile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

I understand that since I'm running Windows 7, this is the issue. I was hoping this will illustrate to others why this is, however, Windows 7 is still more stable and secure than Windows 10!

Amazing scope of work. Best of luck and stay safe.
