Today we’re talking all about the creation of the landmark song, “The Message” by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5, why it’s so important to music history, breaking down the inspirations, and once we’ve unravelled the whole thing, I’ll create a mashup moving through music history, using not only the songs that sampled the message, but the songs that the message, well sort of “pre-sampled”
