Coming This Saturday: The Break Room Livestream (Patreon)

Last week's video was Part 1 of Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly" and this Friday I'll cover the rest of the album with Part 2. But on Saturday, it's time to open up The Break Room again and this month the theme is "To Dig a Butterfly" where I'll be diving into the world and influences of this album.

If you haven't tuned into the Break Room before, it's a livestream where I DJ, I might play bass or play some new mashups, and I get to hang out with all of YOU in person. it's the highlight of my month every time, and even if you can't tune in live, the replay goes up right after, and the "Radio Mix" (music only) goes up on Patreon as well.

Now, I know you may be thinking "oh, so we're just going to listen to To Pimp a Butterfly together?" but that's not quite it. Think of this as footnotes to the previous 2 videos covering this album. Like an annotated experience where we dive into some of the musical influences that made this album possible. I may throw in some tracks from this album, but the bulk of the set will be centered around other musicians, producers, and artists who had a hand in making and influencing this album.
