UYou guys know me with the fun facts. I won’t give away the Wayne Brady sketch. But as a backdrop, he was upset with Dave and Paul Mooney for basically calling him to sell out; that he wasn’t black enough. It pissed him off because he had always been such a fan of Dave even before he went big. He loved the Chappelle show and watched every episode. So he got so pissed off when that sketch came on, especially because he felt Paul Mooney it was trying to bring down to trailblazing Black men to say they weren’t black enough. So one night after the hoodie awards (remember Lavelle Crawford versus the other Guy), he Donnell Rawlings came up to Wayne at the bar and talked about how Dave was such a fan. Wayne basically cursed him out. Two days later he gets a call from Dave and they have a conversation. This conversation led to one of the most iconic Dave Chappelle sketches in history! Wayne knew when they were doing it that it was going to be special.
