Back Story: Before this sketch was created, Rick James was at The BET Awards, accepting or presenting. He said on the mic, "And for that girl backstage, never mind who you thought I was, I'm Rick James b*tch!" The crowd went wild. Dave Chapelle then put it into a skit and immortalized it. Rick James was something else.

I think the scene in the Boondocks where Tom (possessed by Stinkmeaner) goes crazy in court and says "F*** yo' court" is a reference to this skit.
