Not to sound like a broken record, but we really didn't know what to expect when we started this show and because of that, watching it for the 1st time with fun viewers like Yourself, have made it truly special for us. Very good writing and story telling. Not to mention, VERY RELATABLE!😂

One of the guys who robs Chris (his name is Jerome) becomes a semi-regular member on the show. Also, in real life, Chris Rock’s father was a workaholic and passed away right before Chris started getting gigs as a comedian and started gaining movie roles.

I had a story when i was 8yo about letting someone ride my bike when my father told me the same thing rochelle told chris. I let one of my cousins who was 7yo at the time, ride my bike. For visual: i was small girl like half her size probably around 40-50lbs, she was a hefty, tall girl for her age about 80-90lbs. And when i asked her for it back, she kept saying she wasn’t done after the 10th time i asked her. I was never really a fighter or a violent child until i got pissed off. Then i just become a demon. Lol. So when she didn’t get off, i ran up to her while she was in mid-ride and kicked the bike as hard i as i could causing her to hit the sidewalk and scrape up her shoulder, elbow and hip. Then i yanked my bike from her and rode off on it. She was crying extra hard and went to tell my dad. My dad said it’s not nice to hit or kick other kids. And i said, “it’s not nice for other kids to steal either, and that’s what she did.” Yeah, i got a warning and she was told by her mother to never take anything from me again. Lol.
