Absol is known as the disaster pokemon.

They typically live in the mountains far from civilization, and are able to predict disasters by sensing subtle changes in the atmosphere.  Unfortunately, many attribute the cause of disasters to the pokemon itself, giving rise to absol hatred.

The start of a new year is a good time to get an absol forecast.
