Jumping back sure seems to be the bad play here if he keeps going forward with his current speed. I just hope the next shot will affect his reaction time and he will spiral out of control right past us as we dodge to the left.

It's a little hard to tell, but I think it moved 3 spaces this time (it was last on the spot without squares against the wall, aligned to the second nook). So every shot increases its movement by 1, as I figured (way too late). So after this next shot, it'd move 4. I'm not sure why we'd want to fall back, it'd just have to keep going straight and that's right in its path. If we dodge left and it turned after us, it'd slam headlong in the wall at high enough speed to register as stupid, so it probably won't follow. (It probably tagged us in the game over because it landed right next to our space, so we should be fine so long as the end of its "turn" isn't next to us. Hopefully.)

not to mention if we jump back we'll end up hitting the wall behind us if the map's anything to go by
