'You decided to wait for the booby to leave or finish its patrol.  Left with your racing thoughts, your heart beats loudly.

It circled around again and this time, having noticed something, the booby headed right towards you.  It squeezed through the locker grating to surround you.

It became impossible to discern if you did not fight because  of the lack of space, or if it somehow robbed you of your desire to do so.'

Five lives remain.  Agents, maybe we need to have a little talk.

Well, alright then, so... 5 lives, weve got 5 lives left, not only that, but we definitely need to pay attention to every single detail either listed or on display. Sigh... OK! EDIT: It pains me to say this but... weve gotta read more intently and act like we are studying for a School Exam... [shudder]

Reminds me of Twitch plays Pokemon. I don't think we'll get far using collective intelligence.

Anonymous

Really? Seriously?

Anonymous

Again, based sequence at the cost of a life. I'm torn

Anonymous

Called it again~

Ryan Drakel

*Sigh* Seemed to be a lose-lose scenario to begin with.

Anonymous

Same here. My honest thoughts about this are like "oh man, this covers an unusually specific kink of mine, i like it" but at the same time "man, this kinda feels a lil bullshitty ngl.." but then again, from what weve learned, we gotta pay attention to anything thats happening in both the image and the description flavor text. Or whatever, all i can say is im torn just like you

Ryan Drakel

Well. We've learned more... Let's.... Try to be smarter about this, if it's possible.

Ryan Drakel

Well they have good hearing, that's for damn sure. Poor eyesight though... Probably not using thermals.

Don't know how you guys haven't got it yet. There's two ways this is. Either the "correct" answer is wrong, OR it really is whatever we pick gets a game over, and we continue. Honestly I'm glad we're getting the game overs. The conversion scenes really are the draw to this. And the fact that we keep going as if we picked the correct answer means we don't lose anything really. Like...wouldn't you all be pretty disappointed if we didn't see a single bad end, and that was it? Chances are, we're just meant to pick the one we think will make us lose to win. If nothing else, it's because I think all the conversion scenes are going to try and be creative from this point. Also, I really like the suit design, and look forward to also seeing it undronified.

That's going to rather difficult considering how so far any details have been either rather vague or misleading. -I thought the red sticky note was a clue for the first button vote, but that turned out to be a red herring that got us killed. -I don't know if there was any real clue during the second button vote, unless the "Thump, thump" word bubbles were to indicate that her heart beat was actually audible to Booby instead of just being an emotional cue to the audience. If that was the case, how many people were actually going to connect the dots on that one? Instead, the majority properly based their decision not to take the button a second time due to how we failed when we chose the button the first time. If our "clues" continue on like this, this game is going to over very quickly.

Anonymous

That is true honestly, hmm... while I could say "Oh people didnt pay attention to when it said we had the suit" that would be bullshit because im sure plenty of people read/knew that already, the most likely reason would be due to what had happened last time, affecting our descion, but also because i voted to stay in the locker due to what had finished us off during the first game over. So I suppose it confirmed one thing, that being the Booby summons whatever finished off the Agent, my best guess is that whatever the thing that finished the Agent off was most likely the "Big Boi" Boogies, the worm/snek things. and only reason why it didnt summon it now was because since we have the suit, they have the suit in full control, pretty much giving our assimilated Agent an edge.

Ve

So we died after first trying the button cause we thought we had a proper clue from that red sticky note, but said clue turned out to be a red herring. So immediately after that we get the button option again while in the locker, but we don't go for the button since how the first time ended poorly while Booby is present. However trying to avoid Booby just led us to dying anyway. So clues and logic are basically out the window now since there doesn't seem to be anything to really rely on during the votes. Might as well just flip a coin on the votes from here on out.

MISSION FAILED How nice of you to provide your own coffin!

ozoneserpent

No, the right answer get determined weeks, if not months ago. The game is not rigged. You simply couldn't see the threads of the web before you.

ozoneserpent

Not only is the note authentic, there's indisputable evidence of its authenticity that none of you noticed.

Anonymous

He said that we got in our suit while in the locker, and stated that we move better with it on, and that Booby cling to exposed skin more easily

Anonymous

While I'm perfectly fine believing it, you may want to show your working at some point, as it seems a lot of your audience is taking this a lot more to heart than I am, As I say, I'm going to be more disappointed if we don't get the drone scenes, so I'm happy with whatever. And I really did like this one, quite creative. But some people seem to be far more invested in the game, and feeling like they're being cheated. Might want to actually explain what they missed, at least after whatever the clues were are no longer relevant to future parts.

supercomputer276

Also, yeah, the fact we have the suit with its apparent agility-boost now is why going for the button works. Which I wish I put more stock in last time.

Romanov Sharansky

Those are some HEFT, christ. Does it do the same thing to males? You know, *gestures*

Ryan Drakel

..... now I'm genuinely worried how many people here are actually trying to AIM for the bad ends. Thinking logically, we could've waited until Booby was far enough away because the last time we lunged, it was literally right in front of us. But at the same time, that button could've only just shut the door... Yet... We could've tricked it into splatting into that holding cell THEN hit the button to trap it in there...

Anonymous

same here, although tbh, with this choice, is was probably due to lack of confidence + not noticing that the heart beat would come into play, much like some noticed but didnt think to consider, i was one of those people who didnt consider it until i read the comment that brought it up on that post, and by then, it was already too late

supercomputer276

As I said, I had a template set up. Getting a new one is now as easy as black-and-whiting the image and changing the message.

PyroJack24

Yea, I had reasoned the suit makes us faster, so we had a better chance to outpace the Booby this time. Again, though, we made a mistake and it cost us. Come on people, we need to at least aim for situations we get to *WATCH* the Boogification! Or subject others to it to save our own hide, considering the briefing. This was far too soon for another game over.

ozoneserpent

Yea and you too. The previous failure possessed people's judgement, blinding them to how the situation changed.

In my defense, by the time I got here the vote was way skewed toward staying in the locker, I was kinda starting to wonder how loud the heartbeat could actually be after the poll ended! So don't hesitate in actions, don't make noises, and don't try to perform athletic stunts without your suit... oh man, we're screwed aren't we.

Dingsbums

Delightful highlighting in the last panel

I hope people deliberately miss voting is not the case. Otherwise, this whole process is going to be rather pointless. As for the button, we died just last round from that option. Naturally this would probably cause people to avoid the doing the exact same action that just made them fail. It's like we just burned our hand trying to grasp the handle of a hot pot. Would we immediately try to grasp it again which we know burns us, or do something else?

ozoneserpent

More like, you burned your hand grasping the hot pot, put on an oven mitt, but were still too scared to grasp it again and the food got overcooked.

TalkingLoud

Ah shit we’re really not good at this decision making are we?

Ve

The oven mitt would have been the "doing something else", which seemed to be the case with waiting for the Booby to leave so the button was safe to push.

Ve

Except the general audience seemed to be thinking along the lines of Hotpot=Button while Ovenmitt=Boobyleaving The problem is that the audience most likely had considered the button to be just a "fail" option at that point since we've just died from trying to take it before. Since they've basically written the button off as a no go, they probably wouldn't have realized that the suit even had a factor in the situation so it was not really thought about. They're probably looking at just the options themselves and how each action would play out from that respective action alone. I get the feeling that this is going to play out like a DnD scenario where you have how the DM thinks the players are going to figure a puzzle out versus how the players actually think through the puzzle.

ozoneserpent

Indeed, it was spiked with misdirection. On the other hand I think you guys will have a good handle on the next part.

Anonymous

Our current track record doesn't fill me with much hope for success, but we're slowly learning at least. Plus, the game over screens are pretty good.

Ve

Sadly I don't share your optimism.

TalkingLoud

We probably just need to coordinate better and be more logical in our answers (and look for any hints you may leave behind)
