The kobold Pint found something very unusual while looking for scraps for her power armor.

If boogie matter gets lost and it's too far away from the hosts to properly control, it may latch onto the nearest person that discovers it.  Pint's quite short, there was a lot for her to take on herself but it seemed to suit her tastes.
