Spent the last few days experimenting with how I'm going to ink and finish these pages. I inked two versions of this one in Clip Studio Paint and one in Photoshop. I like the feel of inking in Photoshop better mostly because of the familiarity. The tones were all dropped in in Clip Studio Paint because it does that so much better than Photoshop.

I'm going to port the new inking brushes I made from Photoshop to Clip Studio and try inking a different page with that.

Beat back in the day when I had to save up for a month to afford a sheet of transfer screen then hand trim with a scalpel to stick it onto my original art

Interesting to hear what tools/programs you use! I actually do most of my ink/line works in Paint Tool Sai. I feel the brush strokes feel so good there, more than in Photoshop. I know you can design the brush however you want and such, but the actual 'feel' still isn't the same or something, than what I have in Sai. Not sure how to word it. But yeah, it's cool to see you use different programs for once piece at times :D Looks neat!

I think you nailed it. They don't feel the same. Clip Studio is more like Sai than Photoshop and copied Sai's vector brushes which are super nice for editing inks. So nice to have vector scaling and line cleanup. Shame that Photoshop is really weak in that area.
