Gunwale Regis SD (Patreon)

I didn't really do any proper work on the game this weekend but I had heaps of fun doing these. I seem to keep going back this kind of style all the time over the years. I'm been 50-50 on doing Gunwale in a cutesy style since the beginning. This is just going more chibi than the previous version. Part of me thinks it might makes things less stressful for me. I'm still undecided. Either way I'll probably use there somewhere in the final game.

These are all the various proportions I've tried out. My current plan is the leftmost one is the dialog closeup version and on the game screen I use the second one. Plan B would be to use the 2nd from the right for EVERYTHING and keep it all Animal Crossing cute. Like I said it's all up in the air as I explore all options.
