So work this year is actually going along nicely for the first time in many years. That said I'm doing a lot of stuff which on one hand is pretty creative but also not. It's been a lot of stuff to get TY into the digital stores as well as all the merch for the Kickstarter. I've done heaps but there's still the art book to finish (that's about 75% done), a new TY comic as well as all the backer drawings. If that wasn't enough I've got work to do on other game projects that are underway and ones we're trying to get signed up. It's all actually potentially great stuff but it does drain me. I'm not getting any younger and this stuff does get harder as you get older.

What I'm really saying is I can't really guarantee anything. The Crime Club game idea is just too much work with all the other work I have on. I've been slowly moving my 3D skills from Max to Blender (which is fine once you start to learn their way of doing things). So I'm taking some time to build some props for the comics.

So that just means that I'll probably end up just drawing more design stuff than finished stories because I find that more fun and quite relaxing. I'm going to put up a bunch of comics on some of the webcomic sites like Webtoon to get more readers interested in them.

As for stories I have about 5 Crime Club ideas in progress at the moment. A couple are stalled because they're a bit light on Crime Club. But I have one that's got a lot of cool stuff in it that I'm working on now. It's called "Let Them Eat Cake" and features Kit Ballard as a foil for Nancy. And that's just the start of it :)

Just wanted to let you know why things might get quieter than usual now and then over the next few months.

Maybe you shouldn't focus on too many things at once? I get that this will drain you more, but for me, it usually results in getting at least one thing done more efficiently, and getting something done gives a large morale boost. That being said - I like the different ideas you're pursuing. Maybe it would help to team up with someone for the Crime Club game? I guess it will require a lot of writing, especially if it's going to be a point&click or visual novel style game.
