Here's something I don't post very often. Each kit drawing is basically a layer that I trace over to get the final shapes/clean drawing. I used to draw on these bank paper pads which had a nice thin paper that I could tear off and stick behind a fresh sheet to clean up or ink. Rarely had to use an eraser and I found I had less trouble getting the right lines.

I decided to try another different take on the cute Kit sprite as I was having some major issues with some of the joints on the other one. Also I really liked some of the design callbacks I had on that last Kit design (the first for 2021) so I worked them back into it. OK I really missed the thigh high yellow boots with knee-pads. So sue me :)

Insanely busy with work stuff for the next few weeks. Something big. So either I'll barely post or I'll run myself into the ground doing more non-work art to clear my head. Time will tell.
