Sync Guidelines

Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.

*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*

To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:

  • Pausing and Playing: Follow on-screen countdowns to pause and resume play together with us for a synchronized experience. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.

  • Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.

  • Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.

  • Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.

These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 😊

I’ve read a theory that the reason Lin and Tenzin broke up was because Tenzin needed to have children so that airbending wouldn’t die out, and Lin didn’t want kids. (Lin in episode 5 saying, “5 kids, what a nightmare.”) The flashback in this episode adds to this idea, because something that happens a fair amount with older siblings who end up having to parent their younger siblings is that they end up not wanting to be parents.

This episode always made me wonder if maybe the part of the reason Lin didn’t like Korra at the start was because she reminded her of Su Also while both Lin and Su are both at fault in a way I find myself really feeling for Lin more. Su kept saying “Let it Go” or “It’s in the past” but Lin sees the reminder every day in the mirror due to her scar. And Su didn’t take any responsibility for what for she did until later. And all that time and she could’ve found Lin and apologized but she didn’t, she wanted Lin to come to her. But anyways, I’m glad they’re starting to repair their relationship now!

yeah exactly, like, it’s one thing to say “i’ve changed, i’m a different person now” but really the thing lin seemed to be wanting was for su to take responsibility for the harm she caused, so for her to be insisting that she’s changed while *still* not using any apologetic/taking responsibility language made me able to sympathize with why lin wouldn’t be able to just accept that and move on.
