So, with one month ending, we're looking ahead to the next chapter of Young Wolf. Now that Robb has recaptured Moat Cailin, the obvious question for this poll is where he goes next. Does he leave a garrison at Moat Cailin and return south, to focus fully on Stannis? Or does he proceed further north, to chase the remaining Ironborn off?

Playing off of the end of last month's chapter, with his dream (warging?) of Jon, I have a bit of an idea in my head of Bran and Jojen sending representation to Moat Cailin to urge him to go to the Wall to defend the realm from the wildlings, and more importantly, the Others. It feels like the changes brought about by Robb marrying Margaery and aligning with the Tyrells, the Lannisters not receiving that Tyrell aid and thus getting smashed, and Stannis having his clear shot to taking King's Landing are really going to start impacting the things going on in the north imminently, and I think it makes sense that Bran and Jojen's goals would shift. (Don't forget, no Theon taking Winterfell means that Bran and Rickon are still there.) For potential smut purposes, Bran's request could be delivered by Osha and/or Meera.

But obviously that doesn't necessarily mean that Robb HAS to continue deeper into the north. That's one idea I've had, but there will certainly be other options in the poll too, including him turning right around and preparing his army for Stannis. If you have any thoughts on what you would like to see in the coming chapter (plot-wise, smut-wise or both), I encourage you to comment here, or send me a private communication if you prefer.

It would take a unified Westeros to defeat the Others, and having an enemy at your back is not good for your continued health. You can go the Aegon The Conqueror route, have Robb become king by right of conquest or go the king maker route and reveal Jon’s ancestry and support him as king. Maybe he’ll marry Daenerys.

Supporting Jon as King doesn't make any sense, because while Robb has a relationship with Jon, his Keys most certainly do not. Personally, chasing out the ironborn is also a waste of time. What he should do is deal with some of the issues in the North, essentially Ramsey. Then get a big enough army to the Wall to deal with the Wildlings, while he deals with Stannis.

Ramsay is a non-factor, at least as of now. Without Theon there to take Winterfell, there was not an opening for Ramsay to do anything. I think Roose is also unlikely to want to take any action against Robb so long as his position remains strong. You've touched on the biggest reason I've been thinking about how the events of this story so far would change things up north, as with Stannis sitting in King's Landing, he obviously won't be turning up to aid the Night's Watch like he did in canon. Perhaps there could be multiple options in the poll in that regard: one where Robb himself goes north, and another where he send a portion of the northmen to help at the Wall while the rest of the army makes for King's Landing.

I would say that Robb should send someone to drive off the Ironborn while he fortifies Moat Cailin
