The Young Wolf's Journey: Chapter 6 poll (July 2022)
- Arianne 51
- Bran 0
- Catelyn/Jaime 9
- Davos 0
- Sansa 14
Casterly Rock is theirs, and Queen Margaery comes to help oversee it in Robb's stead once he leaves. Aside from the reunion of the king and queen, where will turn our attention this chapter?
Arianne
The hated Lannisters have been wiped off of the map, which those in Dorne celebrate while also lamenting the fact that they couldn't do it themselves. But they must move on, and decide what Dorne's next step will be. Her father seems content to remain neutral and uninvolved in the coming conflict between Stannis Baratheon and Robb Stark, but Arianne has ideas of her own.
Bran
The Ironborn have been chased back to their islands, never having been foolish enough to threaten Winterfell. There is no threat to deal with, but Bran Stark's restlessness only grows. Will he listen to Maester Luwin and remain in Winterfell in his brother's stead, or will he give in to Jojen Reed's urging to leave and go beyond the Wall?
Catelyn/Jaime (not a pairing!)
In Riverrun, Catelyn decides to personally deliver the news of the fall of Casterly Rock and the defection of Tyrion to his captive brother, the Kingslayer. This leads Eddard's widow and Tywin's son to have a frank conversation that's enlightening for both of them.
Davos
Ser Davos is the king's man, and he'll serve his king to the best of his ability, whatever that entails. He's a realistic man, and their chances in battle against Robb Stark's army seem bleak. But perhaps there are other ways.
Sansa
Her brother might have the most powerful army in the Seven Kingdoms, but Sansa remains a captive in King's Landing, gone from one gaoler to the other with Joffrey dead and Stannis holding the city. Will she live in her continued fear (especially of the Red Woman) and do nothing to draw suspicion upon herself? More than one person has approached offering to help her escape from the clutches of Stannis Baratheon, but can she trust anyone?
