January 2022 themed poll: Girls with Guns (Patreon)

Happy New Year, patrons! Thanks for all the support in 2021, and I'm excited to see where things go in 2022. Interactive 8th Year will be wrapping up this month, and afterwards I'll have a discussion with my $5+ patrons to figure out how we'll replace it going forwards.

Additionally: as of this writing there are currently two open spots at the $10 tier, which entitles you to a monthly 500-1K word short in addition to the poll stuff. These spots usually get claimed within minutes of me mentioning them in a tweet, but I figured I'd give you guys some advanced notice this time in case any of you at a lower tier are interested in upgrading.

This Month’s Theme:

Girls with Guns

Almost called this Gunslinger Girls, but I wouldn’t want there to be any expectation of it to be centered around the series of the same name. Anyway, yeah: the focus here is on pairings with female characters who have an association with guns. Guns themselves and shooting don’t necessarily have to be part of the story though.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Jake/Amy): Santiago wins a target practice contest and gets to make Peralta do whatever she wants for the rest of the day. Her intention is just to make him perform menial and humiliating tasks, but after one joke too many she finds a better use for his mouth. Jake has no complaints.

Cowboy Bebop (Spike/Faye): When Spike still seems intent on going after Vicious, Faye decides to stop pleading and try seducing instead. Her body accomplishes what her words could not.

Final Fantasy X-2 (Tidus/Yuna): After his ‘return’, Tidus is surprised by Yuna’s makeover. She quickly shows him that more has changed about her than just the hotpants and the guns. She’s not the shy summoner he kissed in the lake anymore. Now she’s a confident woman who boldly goes for what she wants.

Fullmetal Alchemist (Mustang/Hawkeye): Usually it's Lieutenant Hawkeye taking care of Colonel Mustang. But when his Lieutenant gets injured in the line of duty, it's Roy's turn to take care of her for a change. He takes his duty seriously and sees to her every need; even some that she didn't ask for and they've never discussed until now.

The Mandalorian (Din Djarin/Koska Reeves): Tension exists between Din and Bo Katan after the former captures Moff Gideon and possesses the Darksaber, making him the rightful ruler of Mandalore. Koska decides to try and play peacemaker. Din, lonely without Grogu around, welcomes her company.

Mass Effect (Male Shepard/Ashley): Commander Shepard and Lieutenant Commander Williams fight hard and play hard too. When their adrenaline is still pumping after battling the Reapers, there’s nothing better than fucking until neither one of them can stand.

My Hero Academia (Izuku/Lady Nagant): Izuku reminds Kaina why she wanted to be a hero in the first place, back before doing the Commission’s dirty work hardened her. After she recovers from her wounds she comes back to fight by his side in the final conflict, and after his victory she shows him how thankful she is to him for making her believe in heroes once again.

Tomb Raider (Lara Croft/You): (2nd person POV) Lady Croft hires you to be her muscle during an expedition. After you wind up more than earning your considerable pay she decides to offer you a ‘bonus.’

Trigun (Vash/Meryl): Vash The Stampede is in desperate need of kindness and affection after so many years of loneliness and cruelty at the hands of human beings. Meryl Stryfe is prepared to give it to him.

Uncharted (Nathan/Chloe/Elena): Chloe is prepared to bow out gracefully when she sees what Nathan feels for Elena, but the blonde surprises them both when she suggests they share. Chloe’s never been one to turn down a prize offered to her.
