What about a reluctant maid. Somebody that is annoyed with the tasks, gives sassy talk back. It would be a great opportunity for her to really complain about her symptoms making them viscerally real through her annoyed description of her inconvenience and aches and pains.

The belly gets in the way of doing her tasks and interferes with basic mobility. We could have different stages where as she gets bigger the tasks get harder really emphasizing the size and weight of the belly.
