Some changes coming to this Patreon starting in August (Patreon)

After getting some feedback these past few months about how my Patreon is run - Patron rewards, specifically - I've been putting some thought into making sure everyone feels satisfied with their pledges. To that end, I've decided to do some rebalancing with Patron tiers. Starting August 1st, these will be the new rewards for Patrons:

$1 tier: 1 chapter ahead of my website

$3 tier: 2 chapters ahead

$5 tier: 3 chapters ahead

$10 tier: 6 chapters ahead

$15 tier: 9 chapters ahead

$20 tier: 9 chaps, plus your name in the credits

As you can see, most of the donation tiers will be getting a boost in the number of chapters they will be ahead by. In order to get to these numbers, I will be releasing a bonus chapter on Thursday, Friday (in addition to the already-scheduled chapter), Saturday, and Sunday. These bonus chapters probably won't go up at the normal time, though.

Despite not being listed, I still intend to release a few Behind the Scenes posts, but these will be for all Patrons, rather than $3 and up. However, they probably won't be bi-monthly anymore, and be a little more random. Regardless, there will still be the already-scheduled BTS update on Wednesday, where I talk a little bit about how the arc where Leon finds Xaphan changed while it was being written. The other announced BTS posts - talking about how I name the characters and the maps of the world - will still happen! But, you know, since people didn't seem all that into the BTS updates to begin with, I figured I might as well make it something for everyone as opposed to locking it behind a paywall.

So, yeah. That's what's going on. More chapters, and BTS for everyone!
