Return to TranZit - New Weapon System (Patreon)

One of the major system overhauls in Return to TranZit (and it's submaps) is the new weapon system.

The goal of this new system is to make weapons unique and give something to work towards later in the game above the normal Pack-a-Punch upgrade tier.

Traditionally in Black Ops 3, you can take an upgraded weapon to Pack-a-Punch and "Re-upgrade" the weapon for 2500 points which gave that weapon a random AAT. This is changing.

Just like normal, you'll be able to take an unupgraded weapon to Pack-a-Punch and Upgrade it for 5000 points. However, now if you take an already upgraded weapon to Pack-a-Punch, you'll see an option to Master the weapon for 20000 points. 

Mastering a weapon will further greatly increase the damage of the weapon as well as give it a defined AAT to that weapon's mastery. Each weapon has their own mastery properties which include it's defined AAT, meaning AATs are no longer random. As such, the mastery version of the gun also has it's entire theme centered to it's AAT.

Wallbuys

With these changes, wallbuys has some slight modifications. Wallbuys traditionally have always had ammo costing half the base weapon and 4500 points for upgraded weapons. This has changed.

Base ammo costs roughly 1/2 the base weapon price.
Upgraded ammo costs 4x the base ammo price.
Mastered ammo cost 3x the upgraded ammo price.

For example, a weapon could cost 1450 points, making it's base ammo price 750, it's upgraded ammo price 3000 and it's mastered ammo price 9000.
