Community Workshop Championship (Patreon)
Content
The Community Workshop Championship (CWC) is a tournament centered around community made multiplayer maps for Black Ops 3.
I've had this idea for a very long time and recently had it resparked by Robit's release of Warhawk. Robit is also the one who made the CWC logo.
There will be 2 teams: Team VerK0 and Team Kunjora. The captains (VerK0 & Kunjora) are responsible for recruiting and managing their 4 players for their 5 player team.
The tournament will be a best of 5 map series and each map will have it's own best of 3 across different modes.
The 5 maps are made up of 3 community maps and 2 Treyarch maps. With the best of 5 structure this guarantees the 3 community maps will be played, as the winner must get 3 points to win.
The maps are as follows:
1) Warhawk by Robit
2) Killhouse Z by ZeRoY
3) Suijin by ChickenHatMan
4) Redwood Snow by Treyarch Studios
5) Fringe Nightfall by Treyarch Studios
The best 2 community maps of this series will be the remainder 2 maps for the next series instead of Treyarch maps to fill out the next best of 5 tournament.
The best of 3 series on each map will be separate modes, as follows:
1) Warhawk by Robit
- Domination
- Search & Destroy
- Hardcore Kill Confirmed
So for instance, Team VerK0 wins the domination game, this will make them 1-0 in that map's series. Then Team Kunjora wins the search & destroy game, this will make the score 1-1 in that series. Then Team Kunjora wins the Hardcore Kill Confirmed game making them win the map 2-1. This would put Team Kunjora 1-0 in the whole tournament. Then Team VerK0 wins Killhouse Z making the tournament series 1-1, etc..
Rest of the tournament format:
2) Killhouse Z by ZeRoY
- Team Deathmatch
- Search & Destroy
- Hardcore Kill Confirmed
3) Suijin by ChickenHatMan
- Domination
- Search & Destroy
- Hardcore Kill Confirmed
4) Redwood Snow by Treyarch Studios
- Capture The Flag
- Search & Destroy
- Hardpoint
5) Fringe Nightfall by Treyarch Studios
- Domination
- Search & Destroy
- Hardcore Kill Confirmed
I'll be announcing the tournament in the future but it won't be for a while as there's a lot of work to do to get this rolling.
