For starters, here's a concept sketch from 2019.

Here are some more initial character design sketches

Above is one of the glass tables I made to animate top-down without shadows. This was a tool that made Opal possible. I'd put a sheet of green paper beneath it and photograph from above.

Opal was fully storyboarded and then made into an animatic to follow along to.

Here's a small clip of an early animation test.

I tossed together a 3 ring binder with the storyboard inside. This was very helpful.

Opal was hard to make but I'm happy.

I am building a small studio now and am very eager to return to music making.
