What's Next With "Fat Trimmings?" (BIG UPDATES! New Opportunity for Patrons!) (Patreon)

15 volumes of "Fat Trimmings" is, I think, a pretty big deal. I'm proud of the amount of content I've been able to bring on a weekly basis, and I hope you've enjoyed all the stories.

"Fat Trimmings" will of course continue as a weekly feature on this Patreon. And as I've mentioned before, the "What If" will no longer be a continuing feature and will instead be swapped out for stories set in an around the fictional restaurant of Thick Burger. This will let me to keep things fresh for both myself and you and explore the same kind of place from multiple angles (characters, POVS, etc.) And that includes being able to potentially interconnect new stories with ones I've already written. If you've read Volume 15 you know that Thick Burger shows up in "What If" so the possibility of revisiting that character is certainly there.

My hope with this long term is to create an experience that is rewarding to both new readers and long time readers who enjoy and feel rewarded by easter eggs and larger connections.

But what else is happening with "Fat Trimmings" this month?

Along with continuing the series as normal, and completing the patreon only "Exclusive Cuts Volume 6", my plan is to release "Fat Trimmings" on here in two "omnibus" editions. This will include one that is just "What If" collected together and another that is everything else so far. These will be in PDF format so patrons can download them and have everything collected in an easy place for rereading, and it should also make it easier for new patrons to catch up.

But BS, it's March. You know. March Madness? Aren't you going to do something vaguely themed around that?

You mean other than the perfectly timed arrogant athlete themed "Exclusive Cuts Volume 6"? Of course!

Just like we did with "Bad Influence" from volume four of "Exclusive Cuts", I'll be letting my patrons choose which of the many stories in "Fat Trimmings" gets a longer more fleshed out version. Patrons will be able to make a multitude of suggestions and then I'll put together a poll. Based on the number of suggestions that I get, we will potentially have more than one poll in a tournament style vote.

To help facilitate this, you can expect a breakdown of all of the "Fat Trimmings" stories that I've written so far and the omnibus edition dropping next week. 

But you can feel free to start making suggestions right now! In the comments below, if you already know stories that you would love to see expanded on, you can make suggestions below. You can make the same suggestions as other people. If we end up with enough suggestions to make a tournament, the number of times I see a story suggested will determine seeding essentially.

Currently, the only rules are as follows: Stories must be from "Fat Trimmings" only NOT "Fat Trimmings: Exclusive Cuts" (I will likely do a similar thing for Exclusive Cuts once I get to volume 10.) You cannot suggest "What If" since that, once put together, is already a full story.
