So they don’t say it in the episode but Prima isn’t just a famous trainer. She’s one of the Elite Four of the Kanto region, just like that guy from the Onix episode (not the crystal Onix, the giant one). Meaning she’s one of the four strongest trainers in the entire region. Ash was waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy out of his league here lol. And unfortunately, Ash will keep being cocky for quite a while despite Prima’s lesson. But eventually, he calms down. Eventually XD. Also, I’d highly recommend doing three episodes next time if you can.
