Ash deserve to lose choosing Charizard like an idiot

I really like Ash and Ritchie’s friendship. It’s pretty sweet. Also, Team Rocket was more annoying than ever in this episode. Like my gosh... What I really like about Ash’s loss in the Indigo League is that it really serves as a wake-up call for him. Realizing he wasn’t really taking things seriously, had a long way to go, and that he needed to do better. And then, seeing how Ritchie was trying to learn from his loss really opened his eyes. What I don’t like is how Team Rocket played such a huge role in his loss. Like, they didn’t need to be involved. And it kinda cheapens the lesson a bit. Charizard is fair imo. Like Professor Oak and Misty said, he could’ve at least tried to train it.
