Survey Feedback Q&A (Patreon)

As promised, here’s the feedback we received from you along with some info on our end. Repetitive questions were skipped, so if you don’t see your question, your answer is somewhere down there. 

Q: How do I even know if I'm receiving my Kobans rewards or not as often times I think you are giving them at the same time as event times so I have no idea if I've received any rewards since joining in May

A: We strive to announce when the Koban rewards have been given out, whether by a post in Patreon or via a message on Discord. We’re looking into implementing a message system which will let you know when you’ve received the Kobans from Patreon. For now, keep an eye out in the Patreon Blog or the Patrons Discord channel. 

Q: I would love to be able to actually shape the direction of the game and content we get such as vote on upcoming guys, and assist with research and deciding on parodies. Also the Sanji parody should be recruitable.

A: We’d love to have this as an option in the future, but due to the amount of backlog and catching up we have to do, implementing this in the current state of things would slow down the art team even more. If all goes well with the development, we’re going to consider this. 

Q: I hope to see more frequent story updates and some quality of life features (eg disabling koban use on certain places)

A: We’re working on hiring more people to dedicate to Gay Harem. This will for sure help out with the speed of releasing new content/story quests. Regarding the quality of life features you’d like to see - can you give us a bit more info? You can send a PM on Patreon or write in the Discord server.

Q: While I'm mostly happy with the situation, I'm still happy that the team has been making steady changes towards improving the game for us. It's much appreciated and I can see myself spending more in the near future to further support you guys.

A: We appreciate the support and your kind words! We’re slowly and steadily improving things and have a lot of work ahead, but we’re excited! 

Q: It's been kinda nice that we finally got to see some actual info on future things happening in GH on Patreon :)

A: There’s more where that came from! 

Q: I believe one of the most important things is delivering on promises. Don't make promises you can't keep. Having a community manager for GH will help. Art that is already in the game is not interesting to me as a Patron. I think a monthly vote on one of the event guys will keep things interesting on Patreon.

A: We hear you! We’re looking for ways to optimize the Patreon rewards and want to make sure no one feels like we’re taking away something they like. Voting for event guys is not doable for the time being. 

Q: I really like the game and I'm looking forward to what comes next with the CM to guide us and be dedicated 100% to our community!

Q: I really enjoy the game and looking forward to the future. Would it be possible to add some other payment methods like Paypal?

A: The issue with PayPal is that they discriminate against adult-oriented products and services. While it’s a very nice and easy to use payment option, the fact we offer adult entertainment and PG18 content makes us not eligible to use them as a payment service. The payment methods we have available at the moment are not restricting in any way. Rest assured we’re always looking for new payment providers that will open us to different payment methods. 

Q: Glad to see there has been some effort towards recruitment for expanding Gay Harems team, both content and customer service wise.

A: We’re glad too! 

Q: I think there are some people who still do some really shady non-allowed scripting stuff even after getting banned or warned.

A: This is something we’re looking into. 

Q: I believe the biggest issue you guys are currently experiencing is the art-making. When it's rushed, it doesn't look good, but if you don't rush it, you don't have time for anything else.

A: We hope to be able to find more artists for the game soon and eliminate that problem. Stay tuned! 

Q: Ideally, you should hire a new artist, and I believe it is not necessary to try and follow the exact art-style that GH currently has. I'm pretty sure that majority of players and fans would not mind if the harem guys would be drawn in different styles (the story could still be drawn in one style). After all, the whole Gay Harem world is very multiverse-like.

A: This is something we’re looking into and hope to have more to share soon.
