Before Kisame even finished his sentence, Naruto attacked him. He didn't hold back instead going on full speed he aimed his kick towards Kisame's head.
Kisame was forced to dodge the attack. But Naruto didn't stop. He spun mid air and directed another kick towards his torso. Kisame retaliated by raising his sword to difend against the kick. Naruto didn't stop. Instead he sent his chakra chains around his swords. Kisame was forced to dodge again.
At that time Itachi decided to intervine. But Tenten quickly stopped him in his tracks by sending Surume towards him.
Itachi dodged skillfully but Tenten continued her assault. With swift and deadly strikes of her Naginata, Tenten was able to push back Itachi .
Both parties regrouped and maintained a distance for a couple of seconds. Until Naruto decided to attack again.

"Hey Tenten, let's play boogywoogy." Without listening to her response Naruto dashed forward. Tenten sihged and followed behind Naruto.
Seeing their opponents were not in mood of chatting both Itachi and Kisame got serious.
They have fought each other before. But that was around two years ago. Naruto has chakra in spare. So he didn't hesitate to waste them for a faint move. His chakra chains have gotten very fast. And considering their combo- continuous-switching tactics it became very confusing to fight. Not to mention Tenten managed to mark Kisame in three seconds after the battle started. But thanks to Itachi's sharingan and his own genius, Tenten didn't able to mark him.
But in the end that didn't mean anything.
With Naruto and Tenten's teamwork and relentless assault, Kisame finally perished.
Naruto had piered his heart with his chakra chains while restraining his chakra with another four chakra chains.
After he died his appearance changed and he turned into another shinobi.
"Of course it has to be some kind of clone of kisame, which he was controlling from afar. His chakra level was very low compared to when we fought him before." Tenten commented.
"That means same goes for Itachi. His chakra level is low as well." Naruto commented.
Only a minute has passed since they met Itachi and Kisame. Gyu and Lee decided not to interfere. Which was rare, considering their personalities. But then again Naruto and Tenten didn't give their opponents time to even finish their monologue.
"How youthful ! The finished one of their opponent within a minute !" With that declaration Lee joined the fight. Guy followed behind. Both of them were marked by Tenten. So the situation became worst for Itachi.
With kisame gone, four of them resumed their attacks.
Because talking and stalling wasn't an option after seeing that his partner was a fake, Itachi decided not to waste anymore chakra. So he released the jutsu.

"They didn't able to stall us for long. I wonder What measurement they will take to stop us." I wondered allowed as we resumed our pursue of Gara.
"Whatever they do, we will not stop. I won't be slow again." Naruto sad determinantly.
"Yosh ! That's the spirit !" Lee cheered.

"So what should we do ? They are on us earlier than we expected dana." Sasuri spoke to pain after Itachi and Kisame returned to their position to resume sealing. It was clear that they failed to stall the enemy. The sealing process of one tailed beast hasn't completed yet. Heck only thirty percent of sealing process has completed. They needed at least five days to perfectly complete the sealing process.
Unknown to him, in the land of rain, Obito came to pain with a teapot.
After getting the solution of the problem, pain returned to his superior God facade.

"If you are not careful, then you will die." It was a simple statement. But it showed how formidable, there opponents were. At that moment pain decided to add to cents of his advice. " Capturing eight and nine tails are not important now. So I would suggest you to escape. I would hate to lose men like you." It was clearly a warning. Sasori decided to take the matter seriously. But that was not the case with Deidara. "Hmph ! We will see who is more formidable ! My art or them ! Nnnnn !"
Itachi shook his head seeing Deidara's action. If he continude this path then this will be the last time they meet.
