Hey everyone!

After a short breather, we took back to work and we made some improvements to the Hero Tale in the area of quality of life updates.

The most important thing? We will be testing offline rewards! So feel free to test it (or not, you can turn it off in settings) and tell us what you think about this solution.

What else was added or changed?

NEW FATURES

  • Offline rewards! They're calculated based on the last 5 minutes of the gameplay. You can earn XP, training and money, but you get a time penalty to your runtime if you accept it.

  • Added drop enhancement for undiscovered loot. Yeah, getting this forsaken bone slingshot on your 3rd run was pain in the ass, when the time is so valuable, but no more! If the loot is still undiscovered, with each defeated enemy chance to drop rare loot grows a little and after some point, you will receive a guaranteed first time drop. It works only for the first item of the type right now! More improvements to the drop rate will probably be made in the future.

BALANCE

  • grass hopper shield 6 ➝ 11 armor

  • spike shield 14 ➝ 17 armor

  • Elder shield 15 defence 25 block ➝ 15 defence 23 block

  • Plate shield 15 defence 25 block ➝ 16 defence 25 block

UI

  • Added marker indicating new map available. No more discovering Harpy's Den on wiki instead of in-game.

  • Added item info in the world map. Check item info straight from the map, even if you don't own it yet in this run.

  • Improved readability of Fairy panel

ANIMATION

  • Added Thunder Bolt animation to young Hero sprite

And with that, have fun with the update! Testing will take a while, because soon there will be national holidays in Poland and we will be taking a longer break.
