So I’m fairly new to DB and have never seen Dr. Das. However, this subject is infuriating me. If someone has stopped their medication while they were “capable” then killed people, why the fuck would anyone ever trust that person to stay in their meds again? The meds we’re being taken, he stopped them WHILE his mind was clear. So he took that chance while he was legally “safe”, and look at those consequences?! That should be the last straw, in my book, and I have a schizophrenic child. It’s called punishment for what you’ve done.

Hey there, welcome Nicole!! As someone who works in the medical and psychiatric fields... Sadly people are people. Some believe once symptoms are relieved then they don't have to take their meds anymore, for whatever reason... Whether it be antibiotics, blood pressure meds, or psych/Antidepressants, etc. And consequently, often times not only do symptoms come back, they get worse with each relapse. 😔

I'm Swedish and I wish you were right about how we handle People with mental health problems. We closed down all our mental hospitals in in the late 1990s. It's not possible to keep anyone against their will here if they don't want to...But if they go in and out from an open clinic, are schizofrenic, talk about voices, kill a buss full of children and eat them - they probably will be locked up for life in a high secured mental hospital ( jail for nuttiness). So we do take responsibility... But not until the fat woman sing and the ceiling already is painted with poop. Love and light from a Swedish concrete suburban 🙏❤️

Dr. Das is definitely pretty interesting on some points- but I bet your bottom dollar he wouldn’t house anyone with a weekend pass with his family around!!!!!
