The Van Breda murders were the killing of three family members and serious injuring of another on 27 January 2015 in Stellenbosch, South Africa an upscale gated community in SA.   When Police were called by Henri Van Breda in the early hours of January 27th 2015 they were not prepared for the carnage that they came across. The house had been burgled by one or possibly two black men who had killed three of the family and wounded two others with an axe. One of the officers on the the scene said it was like a waterfall of blood flowing down the stairs.  It was during the investigation that the murders took on an even more sinister tone.
