I know exactly what you're saying, here in Victoria Australia we're now being told that from either next year or 2025 we have to drive with our lights on whether it's day or night in order to save lives. So we have a couple of options, we can either buy new cars that run lights every time we drive, we can upgrade old cars or we have to remember to turn them on, but if you're caught driving with no headlights then you get fined. Again, as you just said it falls to the poor folks, because 2 years ago I bought what should be my last car but it's a 2013 model. I can't afford whatever exorbitant price they will charge to upgrade and because my memory is so goddamn bad I'm going to be constantly fined. With just that little amount of stress added to the rest I go through, how is that going to save my life. I tell ya the morons who come up with all this crazy shit really have nothing better to do than think of ways to make the poor suffer more.

And car batteries are insanely expensive!!! At least here in the US they are! So I imagine they're costly in Australia. At least you can use the dead ones to smash some of those insane spiders y'all have. Or a kangaroo. We honeymooned in N.Queensland in 2002. Went to Cairn's night zoo and a damn kangaroo stole my drink! Were supposed to go back for our 20th anniversary in 2022. But, we have 2 teenagers and a mortgage and damn shit's expensive. We can't afford to travel. Australia is a beautiful country!!! Long ass plane ride though!

I had the same issue with Patreon and it was a bitch getting back here. 3 different credit cards and having to redo my subscription (I've been supporting you for a couple of years I think, because I fucking love your shit) but I didn't give up....I'm back baby 🙃
