This is awesome. I’m a resident of Suffolk county and 10 miles from where they found the bodies. The saddest thing is the police did not catch Rex much earlier because we HAD a corrupt Police Commissioner and DA, that wouldn’t let the FBI get involved because they were up to their own illegal garbage and didn’t want the FBI finding out. Our NEW Commissioner and DA created an amazing task force incorporating the Suffolk, Nassau, State and NYC police departments along with the FBI and they caught this m’fer in short order. This is the way all law enforcement is supposed to work and I hope this is the beginning of the end to a lot of crime Long Islanders have had to deal with for a long time. I’m a very proud NY’er today and we needed this.

Serial killers must have a rougher time these days with all the cell phones, security cameras, etc. Can't be like the 70s with a bunch running rampant easily. I wonder how many serial killers there are out there, and how they remain undetected in this surveillance world?
