I consider my myself left of center politically, I whole hearted want everyone in this world to live their best life but I was in parenting class in the UK, I guess the US may say Lamaze classes, something like that. And a female gay couple in that class took afence to the conversation over care giving to both female and male babies, stating very loud and proud that they don't care the gender of their un born child that they would raise them gender neutral with gender neutral colours for clothing etc and let the child choose, (something to that affect) fucking shamefully to push you adult ideals on an unborn child, that was 9 years ago, fuck I hope that kid is ok to this day. I'm glad that some states are taking the correct stance on this, it's a political agaender about being liberal shower the ladies in that meeting had no liberal bones at all, quite the opposite

Maybe it should be called a "Children's Safety" bill, rather than "Anti-Trans". For me, one of the most enraging things about all this insane woke ideology is the way it's causing the rise of real racism and homophobia. Humanity was making huge progress in genuine equality, nobody cared anymore what skin color you had or what you prefer to do in bed or who with...but the more this bullying crap gets shoved in everyone's face, the more everyone actually starts to hate different skin colors and different sexual preferences. The most disturbing part is their insistence on the early sexualization of children. This is not going to go well.

Go ahead and try it, you might be able to get away with it a handful of times, but one day you will get KTFO for being stupid and exposing your genitals in the presence of children of the opposite sex (which there is only 2) that may be using the same bathroom. The CHILDREN are who we are to protect, not confused mentally impaired teenagers.

You have to be 21 to drink and/or smoke. Why? Because it's harmful and an impairment that young minds are not developed enough to understand and weigh out options and consequences. Therefore why in the holy fuck would it be acceptable to allow a young person to make a life altering decision like mutating their genitals? For fucks sake most parents are anti tattoo until 18. How is this even a question? If your child is going through this support and love them. And until they are 18 get them all the help you can for them to find themselves so they can make an educated decision once they are of age. It's your job as a parent to raise a HEALTY contributing member of society, not cater to every whim or be a bf. Is it really that difficult?

Respectfully, I disagree with you. It’s not about the rights of adults able to make life altering decisions. It’s about protecting children from making potentially harmful lifelong decisions. We don’t allow children to drink or smoke or serve in the military, why would we allow them to permanently alter their bodies?

Ambiguous or intersexuality is more common than you would think. It means that a child is born with genitalia of both genders. The latest statistics report that 1 in100 infants born in the US are born with this anomaly. When these children reach puberty, they begin to feel their sexuality and their hormones determine exactly who they are. It's cruel to force them to go on through their teens and dating years with genitalia of both genders. By passing these laws, they have denied those kids happiness and sense of self. Instead of knee-jerk, judgmental morality enforcement, perhaps some of you should become better informed and research the science and medical issues and have some compassion! It's NOT simply individuals wanting to "mutilate" themselves. These young people simply want to BE who they truly are. I do so wish Republicans would cease with their attempts to legislate morality. Their insanely strict abortion laws already have women dying from infection because they are forced to carry a dead fetus until it eventually expels, if it even does. A simple D&C is now illegal in such instances. I wish people would have compassion. Evangelical$ are embarrassing representatives of what they supposedly believe. I know... I was raised in it.

I don't believe it will affect them.They are not chosing to change genders.What is cruel is when the doctor determines the sex just after birth and picks the wrong one. I agree about the teens but if one chooses to surgically decide on one gender it should be when their mind is developed into an adult or close .18 maybe??

Well, well. I guess I am unclear on why there is such a focus on a small number of people who have gender identity issues. I mean, sincerely, there are so many other concerns for society to focus on rather than demonizing a small number of people. And, well, fuck me. This is just a horrific example of focusing anger on the people without power instead of those who have it and use the power to oppress us.
