Six people have been killed in Virginia after witnesses say the store manager starting picking people off! This happened 10PM local time last night! Manger is reported to be dead! So much for the theory bandied around last week after Florida gay club shooting that it is only hate crimes against gays, hate is hate, they are all hate crimes as far as I can see!

Also, the public treats us like shit. This doesn't surprise me if it's the public he picked off. I've had customers CLAP at me bc I'm.... Fucking deaf.... And have not ONE but TWO pins on my vest saying I am Hard of Hearing & another that says I am hearing impaired & rely on lip reading & can't read lips I can't see (for the idiots wearing masks, trying to talk to someone who is half deaf without pulling it down 🙄).... I've had other say super rude shit bc they try to get my attention by, ya know, standing at the complete opposite end of the isle &.... Talk.... At me... Without ever getting my attention as I'm, ya know, WORKING. Firstly, get someones attention by saying EXCUSE ME, considering I'm not just standing there doing nothing, I'm actually shopping for 8 different people at once & trying to keep their orders straight, it's not my job to find the raisin bread for your ignorant ass, lol.... I just can't believe the way people treat workers..... I had another broad yell to me from two isles over, on the other side of freezers, as I'm standing in front of coolers, half deaf, TALKING to ANOTHER shopper who had asked me about chicken that we kept running out of. The broad 2 isles over started clapping (wtf is it w people & clapping at OTHER HUMANS?! NEVER, not once, have I ever thought that was an appropriate way to get someone's attention) & yelling HEELLOOO... Can you stop CHIT CHATTING so you can help me?!!... The woman I was helping looked at her like WTF & told her we weren't chit chatting, she needed help and I told her she can WAIT.... She wanted to know where marshmallows were... Swear to God, that is what was so fkn important. She also thought she was going to get my name & report me... For helping another customer? As she stood there pulling a fit bc she had to WAIT for help?! 🤣 That did not work out for her. She even tried "I worked for 25 yrs, I know how you're supposed to help people!" get the fuck out of here, you lying ass bitch.... Is what I thought, as I said none of your business what my name is. And walked away, lol., she was a rather large lady, I knew she wasn't following me 😉 So, that's just a SMALL FEW examples.... People need to realize, we are busy, we are doing a completely different job, & have 8 different orders to shop for in a small amount of time. Find the people stalking shelves whose job it is to help YOU, the shopper. Also, we usually have an ear bud in and can't hear you... But more than that.... YOU ALL wear ear buds and walk around talking on your phone. After a few times of asking someone what they said... Only to get Ohh, no, I'm on the phone as they point to their ear buds, you start tuning everyone out. Most people that are talking randomly are not talking to us. So when someone DOES start talking to us, without getting our attention first (or talking AT us), we aren't paying attention. Get our damn attention first. Chances are, if we can help you, we will. But if you're rude, half will act like they don't speak English, the other half will ignore you and walk away. No one likes to be talked AT 😉

This happened in a store my family and I never go in, we call it the skanky Walmart. We do often go to the home furnishings store next door to it but no one wanna shoot up the lamp section! But seriously the shootings in VA are not uncommon. People suck

People targeting the public does nothing for the cause of any movement, senselessly killing the everyday commoner is ridiculous. We have more in common and share the same struggle as you, and equally frustrated. If someone's that upset aim your weapon at the government. Shooting struggling workers gets you nowhere but government officials-now, you're doing something.

Kathleen.... Lol, just ranting after an AWFUL weekend of being abused by customers .... I can see where they'd go off on rotten customers, but not your fellow coworkers. You're all kind of in the trenches together. It's just odd to me that that's who he chose to go after, out of that entire place. Just in a short time I've seen some truly gross behavior from shoppers, but never coworkers. They actually get it because they get treated the exact same way. I even see the "out casters" workers bond over their complaints of terrible behavior from customers. Especially the cashiers & front end workers. I absolutely do not know how they do it. I've seen customers SCREAM at cashiers because THEIR food stamp cards don't go through or don't have enough money on them.... Like WTF can a cashier do about it?! And they'll totally abuse cashiers about something they know nothing about. It's just the most insane stuff I've ever seen. And I worked in an all female, court ordered locked detox before this & those girls treated workers better than these customers treat workers at Walmart, lol!

Nefers lol, by the comments above, I was half expecting to get called into the office over a "social media post" I made 🙄😉 To be CLEAR, I'm a big girl, I can take assholes treating workers like shit, it's what assholes do. I was just letting people know how terrible the public can be and that I don't understand why this guy would go after his coworkers, probably the only people who GET IT.... Awful. I definitely am extra super nice to the oddball coworkers though, lol! Like the Dane Cook joke went... I offer the oddball candy all the time, that way if he does come back with I'll intent one day he'll say YOU, Get out of here, thanks for the candy 😉🍬🍭 lol! Instructor Mike on YT was saying the same thing the other day on a live stream.... Almost every masshooter let the one person live that was always nice to them 😉😁 What's a $5-10 bag of candy when it could save your ass one day lol!!! 😉 I joke.... Well, kind of. Plus, the oddballs have also usually been the people I gravitated towards, just bc on hand I felt bad, the other hand I was curious if people didn't like them bc they were weird.... Or possibly gave off the old I may have a skeleton or 2 in my closet, and I don't mean metaphorically.... Lol! I find they are usually pretty decent people, just a little different. Different is fine W me. It's creepy I don't do well with lol
