The Serial killer known as the Yorkshire Ripper died late last night (Nov. 12) from COVID-19.

Sutcliffe, 74 was one of the U.K's most infamous prisoners, having murdered at least 13 woman across the North of England in the 1970's.

He was being held in HMP Frankland in County Duram and had contacted the virus and was admitted to hospital but refused treatment.

GREAT case, a shattered mirror looking back at us from the past. So many strands to it, the lives of the victims, gender politics, post industrial working class life, street prostitution, police work... so much. Spare a thought for George oldfield. This investigation put him in the grave. He made a mistake from good intentions, he linked all his horses to that fake tape when out of desperation it looked like they were getting nowhere. The drs were satisfied he was loopy though there has always been the suggestion that dealing with his often severely mentally ill wife he was able to pull the wool over their eyes.
