Holy fuck DB this is a masterpiece! How long did this take you? And that guy who got his dick bit off, tough break. And when you said police realized they had a psycho loose, "Well there's plenty of psychos, but one that kills people." lol It's that kind of humor and so many other funny things you said that I love. And how gritty and real this joint is, and at the end when you show the cars passing on a bridge just gives me the impression of how fleeting and fragile life is. And I don't know, forgive me for gushing but your joints always bring me to that place and time. You made me feel like I was there. Christ, I only pay $5 a month and it's worth so much more than that. And you know how trolls like to hate on your voice, that's total bullshit. Your voice is awesome, as gritty and dark as the sewers Berkowitz was writing to the cops about and it always fits perfectly in all of your joints. People love to judge what they can't create. Sorry for going on and on, just had to get that out. And fuck YT and the trolls! Love you DB!

Just putting the pieces together- To hazard guesses He used the Christian teaching he got from his adoptive mother and translated it into a ‘practical’ satanism (Jesus called himself the Son of Man) - Samael is a name of the devil and David would have definitely known it (said he was chanting the ‘names’ of Satan) Said he was honouring his Father (he didn’t have a father- his father was ‘unknown’. He had been lied to and peeled back the layers of his origins and found more lies- Devil is the ‘father of lies’ So all this convinced him he was some anti-chosen-one and combined with wanting to fuck the world, it was a lethal mental combination. Interesting then that the mothers wanted him at the end, and the women wanted to torture him. Sex/religion/adoption, really interesting how these killers aren’t just nature or nurture but a mix of both. His adoptive father called him a stranger, have no idea what the dog meant in his mind as he killed a bird first- a dog, and then more birds (maybe male + female- and then preventing reproduction- saw himself as death’s agent hence making love to the world was death fucking life)

Probably your best joint effort wise DB, so much new information contained about a case most of us here have heard numerous times before. Bravo mate! Ngl though, was a little disappointed to hear Harvey didn't command him to "kill Kill KIILLLL!!! like Spike Lee wrote in Summer of Sam. Great movie for those that haven't seen it btw, acting by Michael Badalucco, John Leguizamo and Adrien Brody and so is that of Mira Sorvino and Jennifer Esposito who are also smoking hotties!

I remember the "summer of Sam" so well, we were almost paralyzed with fear. Almost. DB you did some fine work here, showing this tale accurately and with feeling. It's a lesson in the danger of living near isolated people who have no one and nothing to lose. RIP victims

The Golden Years of Peace and Love: When picking your poison wasn't a bad thing! Coke Parties to die for, Hippies run around Naked. The Cults were pure, the Porn was plentiful and The Devil's Lettuce wasn't laced with a paralyzing hallucinogenic agent, but it was the age of killers killing with no reservations and no remorse that I remember most, and loved it then and miss it now. Like a bag of your favorite assorted candies, pick your favorite flavor and enjoy. The good old days!
