Seeing as you’ve finished season 1, I wanted to share some of my headcanons for some of the inspirations for this show. Obviously, there are a decent amount of naruto inspirations in the show, but I genuinely think that deku and all might’s dynamic was inspired by lee and guy from naruto. I’m pretty sure you guys have made a bunch of naruto references so I’m assuming you’ve seen at least all of part 1: All might being the only mentor who would take on and encourage the student with no talent The power izuku uses being self-harmful and dangerous to the user without control. Just like 8 gates, and they were both "inherited" from their teacher Also just the fact that his name is All *Might* and Guy’s name is *Might* Guy. It’s too many things to just be a coincidence
