Licensing (Patreon)

So let's try to explain it here.

The first licensed brand was Demco, in mid-2019. I contacted a person who commented on a post that worked at Demco, shortly after a Saddle Tanks post. After making contact with the manufacturer, I went to Giants to say that we had a brand interested in having their name in the game and Giants soon explained to us how it worked. Basically, a contract authorizing the use of the brand within the game and the most bureaucratic part, really is the signing of these contracts, which sometimes take months, depending on the size of the company.

After that, the second brand was Landoll and that took the longest. In order not to delay the release of the mod that was already ready, as you know, we released it with the generic name.

This was so successful for Demco that other brands realized how good this is, and the brands themselves came to us to do the licensing.

Since 2019, we have licensed Demco, Landoll, Honey Bee, Crary, Lockwood and lastly, Valmetal.

We have 2 more brands that have contacted us recently and one of them is gigantic. Hope to share with you soon!

Bringing these marks into the game is thinking about realism. We have a multitude of equipment/brands available in the North American market and when we lived the game there in 2019, we knew how much Giants still needed to work to bring this greater immersion in the American community. It was then that it all started. And I think it was a success.
