[NSFW] Shitcan Special + WIP (Patreon)

I had a spiel written in my head before I posted this, which I instantly forgot upon tabbing over here. Fuck me, I guess.

Anyway. Anyone who knows me past the "WOW!! COOL BOOBS!" level knows that I'm a big Hilda appreciator and that I've really been wanting to make my own pinup calendar for a long, long time now.

I don't think I have it in me to make a calendar. Too much forethought and logistics and fuck a thing that you can only really use once unless you're one of those weirdos who likes to frame calendar pages. But I do have it in me to make some prints. Some really big ones. If you consider 13x19 to be "really big". I do, but ymmv or whatever.

I did the "big fish" pic as part of a sketch page (that I still owe) a long time ago, and somehow managed to fucking delete in all of my infinite wisdom. But I decided to salvage it and turn it into something that could maybe possibly become a series? 

The first sketch here (codenamed "Dive Bar") was supposed to be a part of that, but I hate it. Not necessarily because I don't like the pic itself, but because it doesn't fit with what I imagined for this bunch of prints, which was Thiira just doing her thing and happenstance kind of just doing what happenstance does. Like if she happens to be gardening, and one of her plants just happens to be a sentient vine that's really starved for hugs. Or if her bike just happens to break down in the middle of the desert and she's gotta hitchhike, but if she doesn't shed her clothes she'll sweat to death but she'll also burn to a crisp if she doesn't huddle under the tiny piece of corrugated cardboard she just happened to find blowing along like a domestic brand of tumbleweed. You know how it go.

There's too much intentionality behind her grinding on some alien dude and giving him an explosive hard-on, funny as I think the imagery is. But it belongs in an entirely different bunch of images. Series 2, if you will. Happenstance but with dicks?*

I dunno.

In the meantime, enjoy this sketch and this WIP. Hopefully now that I've revealed my master plan I won't feel demotivated to actually finish it.

This is why I'm a little quieter these days. It's really hard to follow through on shit if people know about it. I'm still working on that.

*Series 2: Thiira repeatedly and spectacularly fails to get laid by means of it being physically improbable or downright life-threatening. She likes a good time as much as anyone, but nobody has a good time when it involves the ER.
